Most quiet, powerful, personal fan!
If you're searching for a small, personal fan that is both quiet and powerful, this is it (note: this is a plug-in only fan with 5' power cord). I even like this 6" fan better than the 9" fan, which I also have. Why? Because it feels almost as powerful, and not only that, but way more quiet. Literally, I cannot hear this fan on level 1. I can hardly hear it on level 2 either. Even level 3 and Turbo have a soft sound. I don't like any noise when I sleep at night (not even fan noise) but this fan I can keep on level 1 at night and doesn't bother me a bit. It keeps me cool and I don't hear a sound. Also, you can feel this fan from several feet away and moves and blows air just as well as fans much bigger than this. Also, this is more portable than the 9" fan (both have an easy to carry place on the back). It has a timer for 1hr, 2hr, 4hr and off. Great oscillating fan as well that does up and down, side to side and even figure 8's! Quality design and construction as well! I love this fan! One of my best purchases from Amazon!

Best fan I’ve owned thus far
Here is my honest opinion about this fan. I purchased one of these from HSN many years ago and loved it so much that I wanted to order additional fans. Unfortunately, they were sold out and I searched the internet in vain trying to find this gem of a fan anywhere so that I could purchase more. I had no luck and instead ended up purchasing a similar fan that is much bigger and is very loud. When I saw this on Amazon I literally shouted yay out loud to my cat Penelope because she’s my roommate. Here are the reasons why this fan rocks (it doesn’t literally rock because it’s whisper quiet):The size - don’t be fooled by the small footprint of this baby. She is powerful and due to her size can fit nearly anywhere you need herThe power-I have no idea how something so cute and small can create such a wonderful breeze. And because of the options for the way you can direct the blade, you’re covered no matter where you are in a room. The timer- who would think a timer would come in handy on a FAN? Me’ I use it all the time (no pun intended). There is one con with this fan…after leaving it on for countless days and hours over the years, some of the speed options no longer operate. How long do you expect a fan to work??? The fact that I purchased three of these babies speaks for itself…. buy one before they run out! You will not be sorry👍🏻

Great desk or nightstand fan
I like having a fan on while I sleep year-round. This is the best nightstand fan I've ever owned. If anything, it is too quiet. I like ambient noise while I sleep, and this fan is super quiet. Sleek shape. The controls are perfect for someone like me who cannot turn knobs. You barely tap the controls to turn it on/off. It can stay still, rotate left to right, or move up and down. It's a great, small fan.

SUPER quiet!!!
I LOVE this multifaceted fan! If ONLY it came with a remote! It is wonderful for cooling down a room, able to go 180 degrees side to side as well as up and down. One can easily lock it at a preferred position. It is SO QUIET, if it did nothing else, it's worth it for a bedroom on a warm night!

Vertical Oscillation very strange
A fairly serviceable fan, horizontal oscillation is good, puts out a good breeze, at max it's rather loud, but one expects that.I was kind of interested in the vertical oscillation, thinking it would maybe go from straight ahead to a programmed height or maybe 30-45 degrees, however it swings up to 90 degrees, straight upwards, not very useful in most cases, so the vertical oscillation is only usable to set the tilt you'd like while it oscillates horizontally. For the price it's still nice as a fan and I'm happy with it, but that vertical oscillation bugs me so giving it 4 stars.

Major Cooling Power Where You Want It!
Wanted a cooling fan for my studio apartment that was easy to move; wanted relief whether I was sitting at my computer, race walking on my treadmill, working out on my rowing machine or asleep in bed. THIS Hunter fan does it all. It is small and easy to move to where I am working or resting plus I can direct the fan towards my head and shoulders if I am at sitting my desk or towards my head and shoulders if I am jogging on the treadmill. It oscillates up and down OR sideways. It can also circulate the air in my entire one room apartment. SO REFRESHING. Reasonable priced and well constructed with 4 levels of cooling wind power from 1 to "Turbo". This is a "turbo" fan and beat any Tower fan I've gotten in the past. Possibly my favorite product purchased through AMAZON. A TURBO THANKS to both Hunter and AMAZON.

Does what you wish all fans could do.
We find this a great circulating fan. It is quiet enough to run in a bedroom all night and not hear it, and the rotation and tilt features keep the air in the room moving and circulating randomly so you don't have to worry about it blowing directly on anyone or anything for the time it is running. It makes the room very comfortable and creates a more even distribution of hot and cool air than normal fixed or oscillating fans.

It blows
In a positive way. It's a fan. The oscillating features are fine, but it's something I probably won't ever use. Even the controls are decent. I could do without the beeping, but that's more because I use this at work in an office that has a no electronics policy. I'm beeping away with my fan and waiting for someone to come and tackle me because the think I'm breaking office policy. The fan puts out a good bit of air for its size. I won't even use the "turbo" feature because it's too much. Why this couldn't just be speed 4 is beyond me. Marketing maybe? It looks like there should be a remote. There's an IR window on the front, and a remote-sized compartment on the back. I'm hoping there wasn't one on the box, but I looked and don't recall the description stating there was one. To my largest problem with this fan: the price. The fan should be at least half the asking price. I realize there are other fans to buy, but I was trying to stick with brands I knew. I've been through and broken a Honeywell fan and others. I was willing to give this a shot. Other than that it's a nice fan so far.
