Extremely durable; unforgiving
I'm giving this thing five stars because of the quality of the product. You won't destroy it pulling it behind a four wheeler like you might a normal saucer. Some things to know 1) it's heavy. 2) it's an inflexible bowl shape. 3) on hard pack, it's fast. 4) it's on the smaller side, slightly smaller than the saucers I got from fleet farm.Trying to get adults on it is hard. If they're smaller and flexible, you're fine. The handles are nice nylon straps at 9 and 3 on the sled. For being pulled, it'd be nicer if there were a little forward. You can always grab the rope or the edge of the sled.If I could have it custom made I'd be fine with a slightly thinner sled and would have about a 3" larger diameter.

SnOw much fun
Bought 2 of these for gifts and they've been out only 1 snow, been unusually warm here. They have a thick shell and are made of good quality. I prefer traditional sleds or tubes over these, but they were fun and the circle makes for a spinning action while sliding down hill which might be intimidating for some while exciting for others. I'm sure if it snows again, they'll be back out...they held up good...last year on the second snow day the traditional sled cracked which encouraged my purchasing these.

Appears to be more sturdy than cheap saucers purchased during last year's snow
Appears to be more sturdy than cheap saucers purchased during last year's snow. Seems to be holding up well in garage while we are awaiting our next snow.

cap shield
I live in California so no i dint buy this for the intention of using it for the snow. i bought it so i can make a captain america shield out of it. first off i wanted to see how strong this thing was, so i tortured tested it. i wont bore you with the details but the last thing i did to it was drive over it with my honda. not a single damage occured to it, just a few scatches hear and their.so not vibranium, but it will do. i dint shoot it though, but i wouldn't be suprised if the bullet boucend off. well after a few ajustment to the straps and i nice paint job i was proud of owner of a strong cap shield. the material is super strong it will not dent like the steel ones( i dont think you can drive over those and it be ok) the original cap shield dimention is 25 inches in circumferens. thats the exact same size this saucer is, so that one obstical you wont have to worry about. so if your looking for a cap shield this is the perfect one.

Not a good sled for snow. Slow. Awkward. Heavy.
These sleds were...well.....just not very good sleds for snow. They are super well-constructed. Heavy plastic. Durable as heck. BUT...the point of a saucer sled is to be able to get through the snow, which these do NOT do very well. I tried on different hills in different types of snowy conditions, and these are a grind to get going. They are also constructed such that the rider tips backwards on them if they are not perfectly centered (which, let's be honest, when you are running and jumping on for a ride, or even starting from a sitting position, it's tough to get perfectly centered.)...I got tired of my cheap thin plastic saucer sleds breaking...but after having tried these for a season, I'm happy to just go buy 10-15 of the cheap/fast ones and just throw them in the garbage when I'm done. I laugh when I read the comments on these sleds about using them to haul rocks in the yard and being able to drive over it with a car without it breaking. Who cares about all of that if it can't fulfill it's MAIN PURPOSE??? They are incredibly slow in the snow. Period.

Heavy duty, but didn't slide down the hill!
My son likes to use this around the house - to spin around in and he puts his feet through the straps and uses it to sort of walk around. I was SO excited when we had our first snow and could take it out to use. It barely moved down the hill, though. Other, lighter plastic with more bottom surface area did far better. I agree that this is indestructible and he's found creative uses for it, but as a sled we were very disappointed. Looking for another...

3 Reasons to buy this sled
1. This thing is bomb proof - on our first day out on Mt. Charleston after the New Year's snowfall there were hundreds of people sledding. At the bottom of the hill there was a pile of at least 30+ broken plastic sleds, long ones, short ones, round ones...all dead. Even with the occasional large rock sticking out through the snow and ice our blue saucer just laughed off the threats. It will last for years.2. Easy to carry or pull - the handles are soft and there is also a hole to put a rope in allowing the saucer to be dragged behind you.3. FUN - sleds are great, but saucers have that added thrill of spinning around and are easy to bail out of when things like trees or people are standing right in your path.Only wish that there was more snow :)Aloha

Best ZOOM for your buck!
These sleds/saucers are amazing! Quality through and through. The shell is so sturdy with handles solidly attached. You will NEVER find a MH saucer warped, cracked and left for trash along side of the road! No need to buy multiple saucers every year. This one could seriously last a lifetime. A pre-drilled hole makes adding a pull-rope a breeze. These sleds made such fun gifts for our 30-something "kids"! The positive communication I had with owners Shawn and Mike reassuring me of timely arrival was greatly appreciated. I feel I have made delightful new friends in CA!! Can't wait to update after it snows in Missouri!!! Thanks for a fabulous, high quality product!!
