AeroGarden Pesto Basil Seed Pod Kit (6-pod)

These were almost perfect, they grew faster than expected and fit perfectly into my Aero Garden. Their only issue was that there were 3 duds in the pack that never grew.

It's been about 3 weeks since I purchased this product and everything has sprouted at this point. Some of the pods took longer than was suggested but if you are patient they will grow! Can't wait to have some fresh herbs for my cooking!!

When we received an Aerogarden as a gift, it was fun so we bought another one. We loved the products back then. But since then, we have discovered that the seed pods often don't produce any plants. As an example, out of two boxes of products (2 different combos), we've only had 4 seeds produce anything. This is definitely a turnaround from earlier purchases where we had 100% production. On top of that, I've opened up at least 4 of those that didn't produce and there aren't even any seeds in them. I complained about 3 of the pods and did get a refund of a few dollars but my deadline to ask for replacements are over and I still have seeds not producing and another box I haven't opened yet, so I can't ask for any more refunds. Very frustrating and a super waste of money buying these products. I am extremely frustrated. And my neighbor is fed up with hers too. She purchased 2 Aerogardens too and has had very little luck lately. What happened to quality products?

I love Aerogarden stuff. This is my third pack from them but unfortunately with this one two of the pods didn’t “bloom”. But still a great product and well worth it.

We have two Aerogardens. In one we plant tomatoes, the small ones. In the other we plant basil. We thoroughly enjoy growing things that we eat. They are good additions to our salads.

Easy to grow and great variety or herbs.However 2 of my pods didn’t germinate. I don’t think they had seeds in them to be honest. The mint and basil are thriving though!

I'm glad my first try at Hydroponics is with Aerogarden, these pods came fast and their germination only took a week. I'm now seeing some little ones starting to come out of the soil and soon we'll have fresh herbs for cooking!!

These Aerogarden seed pods kits have been a continual disappointment to me every time I've bought them. By the time the kit arrives at your doorstep, the seeds have usually fallen out of the conical grow material they came in, such that nothing grows. The MUCH better alternative is to buy seed pods from a different company, and one that ships the seeds separately in their own envelope, that you then place into the grow receptacles just before planting.
