Rit DyeMore Liquid Synthetic Fiber Dye Nylon Polyester Clothing Acrylic Dye

Instructions were easy to follow. The dye Works really well but the process is a bit messy. I had already dyed my garment but the stitching was left undyed and the pants looked weird so I redid them with the Rit Dye. The coverage was great and the colour was perfect.

Bought this to dye one of my figures and it worked really well on some areas but not on the less hard plastic. Also had enough left over to dye a second figure. I am aware this ain’t the intended use for the dye but it works well when customising to stop paint rub at joints

Do not use on lycra or synthetic material. I bought this as it was recommend for this specific purpose and the dye didn’t take even though I used more than I needed to. The heat you need in the pan melted and ruined my item. £60 down the pan quite literally

Good dye that changes synthetic fabrics as well as cottons etc. Stove method is the best way to achieve proper colouring but is a bit of a pain.

Had to use much more than I usually do to achieve a strong even colour but was a great deep bluish purple. Would recommend this other colour but not sure I will use this one again.

Did exactly what I wanted!

I used this to die a wool acrylic mix jumper. Did the stove top method for 30 mins. Great result!

Doesn't work on bleached stains. But to be fair, they did say it may or may not work. So, if you are buying it for the same reason as I am, don't risk it.

I used this to dye a tan button up shirt that had been stained blue by another shirt in the wash. It worked perfectly, and looks better than what they had in navy blue at the store in the same shirt.

The instructions on the bottle were tiny, but I watched a few videos before I started. Be prepared! I dyed my white satin/ polyester wedding dress to the midnight blue colour. I had the dress shortened so I used the off cut as a test piece first. Happy with the process I did the dress next and it turned out well. I used 1.5 bottles for the dress and 0.5 on the test piece. I used galvanised stainless steel bucket over a gas stove, and a bamboo stick to stir. Have old towels on hand for around the sink. Even colour coverage. Ended up a bit creased after the heat and spin in the washing machine but nothing a bit of steam won’t fix. I would use dye again now I’ve given it a go, I feel confident doing more.

Fa il suo lavoro ma non è stata facilissima da usare; inoltre quando asciuga diventa molto più chiara e questo confonde molto. Se volete tingere un tessuto senza nessun lavoro strano è ottima, io dovevo fare un gradiente e non ha funzionato benissimo, è a malapena visibile
