Always a Winner
The service provider delivered what was promised. This VHS Classic exist on DVD to be sure. This classic uses high quality models and set designs. No cgi. The stories remain timeless. I enjoy watching with my nieces' children. It's lost none if the magic. Thomas had no better narrator than Ringo Starr.

Last adventures from Season 1
Over here in the US before i started collecting UK VHS Tapes we didn't get every single Ringo Starr Narration for this. We didn't get one episode, and the christmas one you had to get from a shining time station VHS(how we got thomas over here). We got Three from Tenders & Turntables(vol 3) two from Thomas breaks the rules (vol 4), two from Better Late then never (vol 5) Whistles and sneezes from Daisy(wasn't even narrated by Ringo, narrated by george carlin, vol 9) and then the last you could get from Shining Time Station to get the Ringo Starr narration or from Vol 12 George Carlin Narration). As one who always preferred Ringo, this had some of my favorite episodes from Season One, Coal, The Flying Kipper, Whistles and Sneezes, Dirty Objects, and my favorite two stories of the VHS, Off The Rails and Down the Mine!!! Silly old Gordon fell in a ditch! Now i have two versions of this VHS, The 1985 and the 1993 re-re-release entitled Down the Mine. The original 1985 one opens with the usual Thomas intro then goes straight to coal. On the original VHS from Guild This was linked with Percy Runs away, so for what ever reason from the 1988 release on you get the name board sequence in the opening which is cool!
