Quality harvested from norwegian waters, wild-caught anchovies and sardines. There is not a more pure omega 3 fish oil with as much EPA (800 mg) and DHA (600 mg) per dosage (2 soft gels). Don't get mislead by overall MG's. Look at the EPA and DHA specifically. Most companies use farm raised fish which have low amounts of DHA and EPA. Lemon flavored, highly concentrated with no after taste. Third-party tested for environmental toxins, including heavy metals, dioxins, and PCBs. EPA: studies show that EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), found in deep sea, cold water fish is essential for cardiovascular health and is beneficial for reducing inflammation that causes disorders such as arthritis, asthma and allergies. Cardiovascular health: numerous studies show that EPA is beneficial for heart health by reducing the risk of sudden death from heart attacks. Omega-3 helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels. The American heart association even recommends that people who have elevated triglycerides may need two to four grams of EPA and DHA per day provided as a supplement. Psychotherapeutic action: although in its early phases, studies have show that EPA may be beneficial for depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Omega-3 has also been shown to reduce mood swings and improve concentration. DHA (docosahexaneoic acid) is a major building block of cells in the brain and in the retina of the eye. It supports a healthy brain and good vision. Protection against stress: DHA has been proven beneficial in reducing stress. It also protects against the increased risk of heart attack as a result of stress. Learning and cognition: according to clinical trials, insufficient amounts of DHA in the body may be a risk factor for age-related cognitive impairments like Alzheimer's disease. Sufficient amounts of DHA may increase one's cognitive abilities.

I Can't Tell The Difference From The Cheap Stuff
Someone told me that fish oil, amongst its many benefits, would improve my sleep. I've been taking fish oil for years and have had no such luck. So with research I see that it has to be really good quality. In looking for the best quality I found these. I'm a month and a half in and nothing at all seems different than the cheap store brand, and certainly not sleep. In all fairness, before I quit I plan to give it 3 full months b/c I know this is a supplement, not a medication, and it takes time. I have no problem with the extra cost if I can realize the benefit.

Cheap quality, not pharmaceutical grade.
This is false advertising. According to package each capsule contains 300mg DHA not 600. Honestly, I don't believe it has even 30 mg of DHA. Product looks so cheap and inferior quality. Cost per serving is expensive. Contains pork gelatin (filler?)Not to mention 5 star reviews are fake, most of them have only reviewed this company only or posted couple reviews at the same day. Fishy. This is going back.

Has the right amount of DHA needed
For a long time now my Husband and I have been taking Omega 3 Fish oil and the dose has been to low and we didn't know it. I finally realized this thanks to Dr. OZ. who says we need to take 600mg of DHA. These pills have 600 mgs of DHA in two pills. So it says to take 2 pills daily. So the bottle will last you a month. There is no fishy taste at all! Pills are very big but easy for me to get down, but I normally don't have a problem swallowing pills. The brand I was taking before I would have had to take 6 pills a day to get the same amount of DHA that's in this bottle.

I'm picky, and this meets my needs.
I have had several Omega products and I never seems to be completely satisfied with the results. This Omega III MAXX is one of the best I have tried.

Thank You
About 5 years ago my doctor said my triglycerides were 578 and I did not even know what he was talking about. He recommended me take 4 grams a day of Omega 3 fish oil. Since allot of places only carried lower doses of the omega 3 I had to take several tablets. This by far has the largest amount and the fish oil and is great for your body. My last visit my triglycerides (the fat in your blood) was 147 and the doctor said my cholesterol levels were perfect and so now he said just keep up with what I am doing. The Omega 3 will be part of my daily routine from now on.
