Works!!
I have laminate in my house. I bought a Turkish rug recently. It’s thin just like a Ruggable. The rug was kind of stretching in certain parts. A lot of people had recommended this as a way to prevent that. I have tried other things in the past with a different rug (corner stickers, etc) and they didn’t work.It is larger then my rug like other reviewers said, but I actually don’t mind it because It’s allowing for brands that might be off on their sizing. So I don’t mind cutting excess material. It is thicker then my rug, that’s the only downside but this works in keeping the rug in place! It does provide padding and add as extra absorption if needed if there’s an accident. For example, my toddler unscrewed an entire bottle of orange juice (first time) it all fell on my rug-however none of it got to the laminate floor. My rug is in a VERY high traction area, 3 kids and two dogs. This pad has truly been tested and I would definitely buy another if I had to!

Perfect for ruggable
I have an old ruggable that doesn’t even have the corner flaps but it is still in good condition. I didn’t want to spend $100 on a new pad and was looking for a cheaper alternative. This pad looked like it might fit the bill but I wasn’t sure.Once I opened it and tried to put my ruggable on it, I knew it was perfect. It isn’t velcro but it is very “sticky” and grabbed my old ruggable almost better than the original pad. Even the sides sit flatter. I’m actually having deep thoughts about replacing the pads on my other ruggables! This one is thicker and more like the expensive premium ruggable pad. I had to cut it but it was very easy to cut.

Thick and plush mat
I bought this to go under a rug that was shorter than the pad. The pad has rubber on one side and a felted material on the other. It is thick and almost impossible to trim. Once I got it cut down, I put it under my rig which has a rubber backing. I put the rubber side of the pad on the laminate floor so the rug is sitting on the felted side. It makes it much more comfortable to step on the rug but its backing doesn't stick to the pad, so it has to be shifted often.

Excellent padding at excellent price
I have been shopping around to replace the ageing under pads I have had for years. I have many unique antique carpets and wanted to ensure that the under pad was the same quality in order to maintain the carpets. I ordered one to give it a 'test drive' and it pass remarkedly well. My carpet does not move at all. I ordered ½" thick with rubber backing. I am going to order more without rubber backing for my larger carpets. I am heavily invested in my carpets and I am very impressed with this product and price.

Thick Rug Pad
This half inch rug pad is perfect to give cushion to a very thin faux rug. The padding is slightly larger than 5x7 rug, but actually not really necessary to trim. The gripper is locked to my laminate and the rug stays put. It adds padding, not soft cushion, but perfect for my grandson rolling over on it and soon to crawl! I recommend it, especially the reasonable price.

Doesn't bunch up!
We put this under it our large washable rug in the family room because we were tired of the old thin rubbery one bunching up or not lying right. We got the 1/4 inch one and it's perfect. Didn't even have to trim it.

Dogs vs rugs
We we’re trying to protect our floor by laying down rugs. They were all over the place. I used these and they worked best out of many I’ve tried. What makes them work best is actually hot gluing them to the bottom of the rugs, they almost stay put. But my rugs were inexpensive, so I was willing to try to to make them stay in place.

Not 2’ wide, it is 25” wide
Then this pad size is supposed to be 2’ x 8’ and it is NOT. It is 25” wide and less than 8’ long. So i had to cut n inch off the whole length when it was supposed to be 24”. That said, after i finally got it cut down to my rug it is ok. Just beware that the measurements are inaccurate.

Excellent
We used it over rough plank flooring with a Persian Rug and it was excellent. It unpacks easily, lies flat, stays in place, and arrives very clean with few random fibres. I’ve already bought another one … highly recommend.

Perfect for hand woven French Aubusson rugs or similar rugs.
Excellent product. Exactly what I was looking for. Purchased 8x10feet. Didn’t need to trim. Fit perfectly. Do note that it is not made out of rubber or foam so it doesn’t have that “bouncy” feel to it. However It is perfect for a large or small area rug for thin hand woven rugs like my French Aubusson Rugs which is thin and slippery on any hard surface as seen in my pics. Because the rug is thin, this thick felt product provides the perfect amount of support due to its thickness and density for ideal cushioning and floor and rug protection plus the underside facing the floor is anti-slip. Makes vacuuming a Breeze and so much more comfortable to walk on compared to without it. I’ve read some reviews of people saying it doesn’t have the “bouncy” or “spongy” plush feeling they are looking for similar to those in 5-star Hotels. I’ve asked the industrial carpet experts and I’ve been told That What the hotels use as underlay are not felt but Thick Rubber or Foam for that plush “bouncy” feel. And those are also very much more expensive too. So if you are looking for that spongy feel than you should look for their rubber or foam underlays. This one is also sturdy and dense enough for me to place heavy furniture on it without spoiling the rug due to its firm density. Shipped all the way to Singapore in perfect condition. Wasn’t rolled but folded for logistical practicality. The creases And folded areas plumped out and flattened out after 30 mins or so. After more than 2 weeks of use in Singapore’s very hot and humid tropical climate. I checked if the Silicon anti slip side resting against my ceramic floor tiles could have fused or stuck together due to the heat, humidity and weight of the furniture, thankfully it did not. As such I have No regrets getting this. And will order again in future.

Works great
It works great and it’s pretty thick. My rug no longer slides, and it feels better to walk on my rug with this underneath.

Better than expected
I just purchased a fairly inexpensive low pile 8x10 area rug and I knew it wasn't going to be very comfortable without a underpad. But, since budget is a concern I didn't really want to spend as much or more on an underpad. Those super cheap ones suck though and they leave marks on the flooring, so I decided to splurge a bit. Went with the quarter inch and it's better than anticipated based on reviews. The 8x10 pad was bigger than the rug, but cutting wasn't a big deal. Maybe the thicker padding would be harder to cut. It actually sticks pretty well on the floor with rubber side down. Carpet seems to stay put on the pad. We have a couch and a big chair on our carpet, so I can't comment on how it would all stay put if just floating in the middle of a room on its own. It's a little pricey for what it is i think, but overall very glad I purchased this. It definitely made a difference with comfort.

False advertising on "easily trimmed". Not for the faint of heart.
Underpad looks good, feels soft, and doesnt seem to be moving that much (will update over time). The advertisement on the Amazon pictures shows you can cut it with regular scissors and on the packaging it says that you can trim it easily. This could not be further from the truth unless you have some really sharp powerful scissors. I tried and was not able to make even one little cut. I had to use an exacto knife with a brand new blade and even that was hard to get through that it was not even a straight line (all the edges are messed up now. See picture.). I am not that upset though because nobody sees this anyway but my frustration at cutting this made the whole experience unpleasant. The whole thing from lining up my carpet to cutting it down to size took me over 3 hours. Highly recommend to hire a professional to trim it to size or buy the most powerful scissors you can get your hands on and pray that it works.
