Bought these for my mason jars to sprout seeds. This involves water! I only used one jar and lid but found that the contact with water made the inside of the rim and a small part of the strainer rust stained during the time it took to sprout the seeds. Too late to return. Had to clean with pot scourer to remove, so now think that lid/strainer will be unusable. (Not convinced they were stainless steel).

Purchased these to sprout my seeds. However, these started rusting after ONLY three days!! I am going to return for a refund. Be warned as you don't want to end up with food poisoning.

Great for wide mouth mason jars

Easy to use to begin with but these aren't stainless steel, the lid and strainer are beginning to rust and im thinking of sending these back. Disappointing and unsafe to use for food.

Habe die Deckel gestern bekommen. Die Lieferung war super schnell. Optisch unterscheiden sie sich nicht von den Aludeckeln, die ich bisher auf meinen Gläsern hatte. Also habe ich den mit möglichen Schnelltest gemacht, um zu eruieren, ob es wirklich Edelstahl ist.... Gewicht und Magnetismus. Ergo: wiegen 11g statt 5g beim Aludeckel und sind leicht magnetisch. Scheint also tatsächlich Stahl zu sein. Ob sie auch Rost und Korrosionsbeständig sind, teste ich dann in den nächsten Wochen per Spülmaschine.Sie passen auf jeden Fall sowohl auf die Eschenfelder Sprossengläser als auch auf die Maison Ball Jars, was super ist. Das alte Sieb lässt sich nicht in den neuen Ringen verwenden, weil diese etwas größer sind aber es sind ja neue Siebe dabei.Bisher bin ich also schon Mal zufrieden, vor allem weil der Preis 40% von dem von Eschenfelder beträgt, wenn man dort direkt die Edelstahl Deckel nachbestellt (plus Versand!). Bisher klare Kaufempfehlung

J'avais perdu 2 couvercles pour mes 3 germoirs - des gros pots en verre.Je suis super contente de mes nouveaux couvercles qui sont la bonne taille . Ce qui me plaît le plus est que la meche en fil inoxidable a des trous plus petits , donc les toute petites graines , comme l'alfalfa, ne passent pas dehors quand je vide l'eau du rinsage . Bonne qualité et arrivé très très vite . Un grand merci !
