Awesome for arthritis and/or joint pain. Takes about 3-4 weeks of use for me. Recommended by my FP. Had traveling/spreading joint pain and then something got into my rotator cuff joint - extremely painful. MRI showed 1/3 eaten away. The orthopedic surgeon suggested PT with surgery as a last resort. I did the PT, couldn't even do leaning pushups against the wall due to the pain. The PT circulated the infection or whatever it was out of there (yep, I almost fainted at the first treatment) and the Takuna nuked the microbes or whatever was causing the deterioration. Began healing. On my return visit the ortho's PA said I would likely need surgery in about 6 months. So much for her predictions. It's been ~4 years and I can do 40 full pushups and press 65 lbs. per arm (ya, I like to workout a couple times a week). I've had joint pains at times since then and used this stuff to get rid of the pain each time. This stuff just works! If your joint pain has another cause, it may not be as effective for you, but hey, it's worth a try. And Amazon is about $10 less than our local health supplement store.

We have used Takuna for years after an integrative health doctor recommended it to us. We keep it on hand in case one of us starts to come down with an illness like a stomach bug or something. I know this is hard to believe but within a very, very short time of taking the Takuna the symptoms improve dramatically. Then we would take it several times during the day and it greatly shortens the time that you are sick and decreases the symptoms. We won't be without it in our cabinets.

This product is an alcohol based tincture of takuna herb. Nutramedix, the manufacturer, claims that there is research supporting its use as an antiviral against HH6 and EBV. I couldn't find it, however I was able to locate research on a related species that did show such activity. I used it against chronic scalp lesions suspected from EBV and it definitely improved them by 80% in two weeks. The mechanism of action is to bind with sugars in the viral envelope so I take it on an empty stomach and give it 15 minutes to work before eating anything else.

Dr. prescribed. Dr gave me the first bottle. This was a little less expensive but I didn't sense the stronger smell in this one. Hope it is the real thing.

I have RA and am taking this for it's ant-viral properties in an attempt to root out lingering viruses. This does seem to be effective and I've had a couple of cases, while taking it, where I believe it has rooted out some shingles virus as I have had spots show up, then disappear without causing any real issues. I recommend this as part of an auto-immune disease toolbox.

I am an immune compromised patient and all pharmaceutical drugs have lost their effect on stopping my shingles outbreaks.. 10 days ago, I had a few itchy spots on my thighs. I knew this was the sign of another shingles attack. I immediately took takuna + banderol as directed, and the pumps disappeared almost immediately. I continued to take the medicine but 10 days later I felt pins and needles all over my body. My shingles came back in a vengeance!Immediately I changed to semento + banderol today. The pins and needles feeling is under control now, but I have a severe headache and feel extremely tired still. I hope I can control this outbreak.

I have been Flu and Cold free for 4 years since I started taking Takuna. My doctor had me order it for my son. It worked so well as an antiviral that I started it. My son hasn't had pneumonia since! I recommend it to EVERYONE. On vacation with a friend she started to get a cold. I used this as part of Dr. Cowden's protocol for Lyme Disease and used it in conjunction and in rotation with Cumanda, Banderol, Samento and Pinella. Those that are healing from Lyme, take heart, it is possible to get better. This protocol has helped me so much, however I had a Chronic case and used these for over a year. Excellent to rotate herbals to hit all angles. Personally the Banderol and Samento targeted my co-infections, so I had to use those longer. I also took Serrapeptase as my biofilm buster, along with gluten/sugar/soy/dairy free diet and other supplements. I have much more energy and less pain.
