Make the Best Persian Food Ever - Jeweled Rice
Soak these ultra-nutritious berries in water and add to rice. They are Persian so my favorite dish to make with these is Jeweled Rice aka Wedding Rice. You add these with blanched carrot and orange peels in sugar to pistachios and golden raisins with rose water and orange blossom water for a fragrant delight. It is usually served with rose petals spread around for presentation.

Dark colored, most likely old and lost bit of flavor.Slightly different from the ones you get in Parsi dishes like Berry Pulao (those are tartier and brighter red colored, most likely fresher and more expensive) - however, these still retain tartness and do impart a nice flavor to your dishes.

Great barbariska
In my place this Berry always sold totally dry, but in this jar the berries are half dried. Feels kinda small dates. So the taste is much more rich and I am dreaming to cook some pulau with it as soon as possible. Thank you for these wonderful berries!
