Lorena CanalsArtisan Made Tropical Green Palm Leaf 4'8" x 6'7" Washable Rug

Extremely disappointed. I bought this 4'8" x 6'7" rug on Jan 25th as part of my baby's nursery decor while I was pregnant. I finally washed my rug for the first and LAST time yesterday July 26th.I used a gentle wash cycle with cool water followed by the low heat delicates dryer cycle. I was truly lucky it didn't destroy my washer and dryer. When I took it out of the washer, there were chunks and tufts of the rug all over the inside of the washer. But this was nothing compared to the amount of material it left in my dryer's lint trap - see the photo! I had to reach down into the lint trap with tongs to keep grabbing material and pulling it out. This cannot be good for the appliances! The rug is now missing chunks of material.Such a costly waste of money since I will never be washing the rug again for fear of damaging the rug and, more importantly, MY APPLIANCES. When I feel it's dirty again, I may need to get rid of it. This completely defeats the purpose of getting a rug I thought was washable for my baby.This company should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much for these not-so-washable rugs, especially since I imagine most of the people looking into these will be parents of babies and children.Also - the rug is extremely slippery (like throwing a blanket on the floor), so it requires major nonslip support.

Love this rug! Goes perfectly with our animal theme for the nursery. Love that it’s washable as well. I haven’t washed it yet, but I’m hopeful it will hold up. Rug is slippery, need to add a slip grip underneath it.

I purchased the pink/gray version and this rug is seriously amazing. It’s so soft. I want to buy one for every room.
