Works Connection Tach/Hour Meter

Works great and easy to install. No problems, but I did buy a couple stainless screws to mount it to my quad as I didn't trust the double sided tape that comes with it to last very long. The design and quality is nice and appears to be the perfect size, not too big but large enough to see without standing out. Good features too!

Works exactly as advertised. I'm using this on a '14 Honda CRF250L. I made four or five winds around the single's plug, taped it in place and routed the wire up the main harness to just above the instrument cluster. The sticky foam it comes with keeps it stuck right above my cluster behind the front fairing.The initial Setup per the instructions was pretty easy, just be sure you've got the info it needs (google is your friend).As a tach, it works great. Gives insight into the RPM of the little single in my Honda, with the bonus of recording hours and max RPM.

Works great but now I know how little I really can ride my Dirt Bike. I thought I was in the woods for ever, ya that was only 30 min not 3 hours. I think Im was a super star but this thing reminds me how little my old body can take. works well and is easy to install.

I used this meter on my new Toro mower. I wrapped six or seven turns around the spark plug wire and installed the unit near the handle bar. The cord was JUST long enough to reach. After the initial set up the rpm reading was unstable and bounced up and down by some 2000rpm. I changed the sensitivity from HI to LO and it now works great! I would recommend using the SLOW speed for the display update.My unit has the back cover held on via tiny screws so it appears that the battery can be changed when it dies, but I did not open it up to verify.The only complaint I have is that the reset button is inconveniently placed (on the reverse side) and is very small requiring a small tip screwdriver to operate. Otherwise I would have given it a "5" rating.

Superb: Excellent QualityI had first bought the Penny Hour Meter, it died after 20 minutes, they were kind and replaced with a new one. It died after 10 minutes. No more cheap meters. I bought the Works Connection Meter, has performed flawlessly for over 8 hours.The Works Connection Meter is smaller and much better built. I highly recommend and would definitely buy again. Also bought the mount which is installed using the gas tank bolt. Provides the best location for protection and readability. Installed in less than 15 minutes, works like a champ. Cannot comment on durability/longevity as I just installed it but reviews indicate it will serve its purpose for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended

Not very accurate at low RPM but it does keep track of hours OK. It is very small so you can install it just about anywhere.

Great Product, easy to install on my CRF250. Shipping was fast. The only problem i have for now is that the last digit won't work in a cold temperature since it's freezing around here. Can live with that as long as the rest of the digits are working.
