My daughter, son, hairless cat, and even the dog love to play with these block sets! We have combined several of the sets and have hours of fun making cities, destroying said cities and rebuilding them once again! I love how smooth the wooden pieces are and that they actually smell like wood; not chemicals! I love that their natural and not dyed or painted. I also love how they are not traditional square wooden blocks, there are several shapes and sizes which make for endless possibilities. I highly recommend these for your home, if you are a teacher, or daycare provider in early childhood education; they are definitely worth the investment!

This block set is perfect for my three and four year old daughters. They stack well, have enough weight to not topple over when one of the kids runs by them, but they aren't so heavy that they are very loud when they are intentionally knocked over. The variety of shapes lets my kids imagination be the leader at playtime; they build something new every time. I love the natural wood color of the blocks as they don’t overwhelm the playroom and there’s also no fighting over a particular color block (mom win!) I will probably order another set of these for Christmas just to expand the collection and allow for building bigger scenes.

Wow these are so fun! And a great starter set if you're transitioning to wooden toys. I love that they're ethically and responsibly made! I will say my first set some of the square blocks were cracked. I immediately contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement. I've had the replacement for over a year and none of the pieces have broken. We usually do a themed toy rotation at our house. And when I'm struggling to pull together new topics/themes, I love just sitting out this tray of blocks for a day or two and it really keeps my kids entertained while I'm getting everything set up. Another thing to note is that it is kind of difficult to get them all to fit back nicely in the tray especially for kids, even as an adult I end up having to force the last few in or have a couple that just sit on top. So if you're looking for something that's easy for littles to put away into the tray ray this could be a little bit tricky for you.

Quality wooden blocks! Great for many ages. My 1 year old loves them just as much as my 6 year old. Only 4 stars because the wood smelled strong when first opened. The smell went away. Would recommend to a friend.

This is by far my favorite item I’ve ordered for my 20-month-old son on Amazon. I’ve raved about it on Facebook Montessori and toddler toys groups- hundreds of moms rushed out to purchase this set! These blocks are beautifully crafted of sturdy, unfinished wood (perfect if you want to paint them) and an awesome alternative to the coveted Grimms blocks. The price point is amazing. I wish I could buy more of their sets, but I can only find them on Canada’s Amazon. Buy these- you won’t regret it.

Edited down from five stars, after 1 1/2 month's use: I would not recommend these. After a few weeks, my son started bringing me broken pieces of blocks that had come apart. Seems every week or so now, one of the square or rectangles falls apart, and I have to glue them back together. They're not rough on them, at all. The blocks poorly put together.Original Review:I'd hate to knock a star for it, but the pictures are blurry, and didn't realize the shapes are pieces glued together. I'm sure they're still nice, but this definitely won't be heirloom quality. I'm not sure I would have purchased this if I had known they weren't single cuts.Beside that, I love the variety of shapes in this set. I searched for DAYS trying to find a higher quality set like this, but couldn't. This is why I ultimately bought it.My block-loving toddlers will get hours of fun out of this

Here’s a few pictures for scale. My little one (2.5 years) likes them so far. Great for imaginative play with schleigh brand animal figurines and others. Great quality, rounded edges. Very lightweight wood which is only notable to see how they hold up. Not of a hardwood material more of a softer lightweight pine type but very nice for the price!!

These are a good size, not too large but not too small either. Great open ended blocks with creative/different pieces than the average set. I loved that they were unfinished because was perfect to paint and personalize them. Have had no issue with breakage so far, have had them for about a month now and they have been dropped/tossed.
