Good product... Wifi router works as well...value for money
I am using it for the wifi router alone... I read lot of comments stating that it works only for 5 mins for wifi router... Initially I also thought the same and it switched off at 4 mins... Then I realised that there is Auto cut off with the ups.... Normally wifi router comes with 10 w or less and it is too less for ups to detect and it shuts down in 4-5 mins... You need to connect another bulb with a switch to make sure that the total output from UPS is somewhere 20 w... When the power hoes off, just turn on the bulb...It's been 10 days I am using and I tried till 1.5 hours after full charge, it works... Then I stopped the check... Over all it is a good product... Some people are suggesting to remove the resistance so that auto cutoff is deactivated if you are using only for wifi router, buy I don't recommend because if you have voltage fluctuation then it will turn to battery mode...

Terrible experience!!!
The media could not be loaded. I had previously bought this same brand via Amazon. It failed after 1 year. However, since it lasted 1 year, I was rather OK to buy the same brand again: this turned out to be a BIG mistake!I charged the battery exactly as stated on the product packaging (it asks for 8-10 hours of no-load charging before the first use). After charging, I noticed that the charging green LED remained "flashing". I expected it to remain stable once the battery was fully charged when connected to the mains supply. This itself was a red flag, but I didn't give it too much importance.I then switched on the unit without any load. There were continuous beeping noises and no power output: watch my video for proof. On the warranty card it has the signature of some engineer who has apparently "tested" this unit. I don't know what he tested, because the product is completely USELESS and does not serve it's intended function.Amazon does not help directly in replacing this product. They simply provide you with a CHARGEABLE 0120-code phone number to call for service / replacement. The 1800 TOLL FREE number provided on the product packaging also does not work.I also noticed that the product was manufactured in July 2023. Amazon should not be delivering products that are almost 1.5 years old.Terribly disappointed and frustrated as a result of this bad experience. I don't know how this can be called a V-Guard product when it is actually manufactured in China (the product label confirms the same). Please DO NOT buy this product. You'll be lucky if it works. If it doesn't, you'll most likely not be able to get in touch with anyone to get it serviced or replaced.

As I have inverter facility at home, I bought this UPS for my home office as a secondary backup for my modem (only that), in case things go sideways during an important video call. I had very good experience with the older model of V Guard UPS, which I bought some 14 years back and used for 6 years in a stretch with reasonable backup.I didn't check the backup time for the new model. However, I found two major flaws in the design, which is really inconvenient:1. The 'no load shutdown' feature is a nuisance. As I mentioned above, I use it exclusively for my modem and it totally fails the purpose when the UPS doesn't turn on upon input power failure. Even if turned on, it will shut down after some 5 minutes. This is because, the 5W-10W power draw of the modem is below the limit they set for 'minimum load to turn on the UPS feature'. This doesn't make any sense to me. The cut-off seems to be somewhere around 20-25W.2. When connected in standby mode to mains supply, the UPS gets heated up, even with no load connected. I'm surprised to see that the ventilation holes are very narrow compared to the old model and it's adding to the heating problem.Edit 1: I could see that there's no switching issue with another modem (D-Link) I tried with. Apparently, I need to replace the AC adaptor of the local brand modem (NET Link) with a good quality piece.Edit 2: Before going ahead with a new adaptor purchase, I checked the UPS output voltage (on backup) with a multimeter. I was really shocked to see that the ouput is only 160V!!! What they promised in the datasheet is 220-240 with a maximum 10% variation. Definitely this shouldn't be the quality of the UPS output. I don't know how good is the quality of the sine wave output.I used to be proud of V-Guard being a Kerala brand. But I can see the quality control, market ethics, and reliability is being lost nowadays. Even for the stabilizer used with my AC, those are mere 'cut-off boxes', not real stabilizers.Final Edit:1. The service representative visited my home and removed a resistor from the UPS circuit board. The annoying 'no load shutdown' feature is now gone.2. I replaced the DC adaptor of the modem (the adaptor came with the Net Link bundle was crap). it can now pick the UPS output of 160V.3. It's understood that the UPS output (inverter output) is designed to take feedback from the load. If you have only the modem connected, the output will stay around 160V-170V. If you have the full load (typical desktop application as they recommend for this product), you will get the voltage range promised in the product label.I'm finally relieved, though I wasted a lot of time to solve and understand. The product rightly deserves 3 stars! The service quality rating is 5 stars!
