I love everything about this quality set! It is a beautiful beginning kit. It has an ageless feel and wonderful introduction into creating ink and using the brushes with it.I feel the quality far surpasses the cost. Very portable as well and packed up neatly.

Got it for my mom for Christmas and she absolutely loves it.

Purchase this because I miss writing calligraphy. This is great compact calligraphy set! Good for small spaces, traveling, beginners! I wish the ink was a little bit darker but can’t ask for more with the price point.

Always wanted to try Sumi and now that this has arrived I'm off to paint.
