Natural and tasty
Less salt than other organic walnuts. Gets crispier and tasty when roasted in flying pan. Husband loves it so have subscribed.

Bitter, waxy and high in tannins.
These walnuts are very bitter and very high in tannins, leaving an unpleasant dry waxy film in the mouth. I assumed I had a bad batch that had gone rancid and left a review stating as such. The seller got in touch with me to explain that they weren't rancid, but that they are from Moldova and the walnuts there are naturally more bitter and higher in tannins compared to Californian walnuts for example. The taste is indeed subjective and looking at the other reviews some people do seem to like them, but to me, this is not how walnuts should taste. I am used to fresh, crisp, light, nutty, delicious walnuts, and these are not for me. Soaking and dehydrating did not improve the taste. In all honesty it's somewhat reminiscent of ear wax.I am grateful for the seller getting in touch to explain this and to advise that I don't buy any more, thinking I had a bad batch. I hate to leave a negative review, I don't want to damage the seller's business, but I do need to be honest about my experience of the product. I suppose it comes down to personal tatse and what you are used to. Unfortunately on that basis, I cannot recommend this product.

Very good walnuts!
Very tasty, I love them!Update 13 Sept 2019. This is the seventh order. I always received delicious walnuts and never rancid. I usually soak them but my daughters love them unsoaked. Thank you to the seller and we would really appreciate a paper bag if possible.

Disappointing
I ordered these walnuts, more expensive than the ones I normally get, but they didn’t taste very nice. Maybe they were too old.? I don’t know, but I was disappointed.

Organic health
I am a regular purchaser of these Walnuts for health reasons and I use them mostly in smoothies but also for snacking. The reason is they are Raw, Organic, Unsalted, of European origin and not GMO. The alternatives are mostly Californian, which from my experience can't offer the above, and although they may taste less bitter, this is only because the natural tannins have been removed. Hopefully these Walnuts will continue to be available at a competitive price. Likewise for the PINK SUN raw organic almonds. Thank you.
