Excellent books for beginners....all the concepts are thoroughly cleared

Outstanding is the word to describe the book. It entirely covers the syllabus of AMIE Sec B fluid mechanics. It not only clears the fundamental concepts it also sharpens your problem solving capability. Nevertheless be prepared to encounter a bit higher level mathematics.

The description of each and every concept is in detail. It is very close to syllabus followed in Indian Colleges. It explains every concept with a mathematical point of view and a little physical interpretation too. The solutions aren't available anywhere online, so the student has to struggle a little and invest time to solve problems himself. Unlike other books where there are more than 100-150 problems in exercises for each and every chapter, this book has a limited number of problems (25-40) for each and every chapter enough to understand all the concepts covered in that chapter.

Its is on of the best book in fluid mechanics. It is little bit difficult because involve use of higher mathematics. It's involves every derivation so it is best for GATE, IES exam. For easyness you can go NPTEL of same author Suman chakrabarty sir.

It's good if you strong in vector

The book is awesome. As I have studied from Prof. Biswas so definitely I can say that he is one of the best teachers to learn fluid from but, for those mechanical engineering students who do not get this chance meet him in person and learn directly under his guidance I recommend this book.I purchaed 2 books for my students but I received only 1. On the part of Amazon, this is not good

This is a very good book on fluid mechanics and as its from an Indian author its easy to understand. All Fundamentals will become clear. Another good book on Fluid Dynamics is there by Kundu but this one I felt more easy to understand. Only issue I found with this book is that, the pages are very thin and quality of paper used is also not good.

First of all I am happy with the gift that the seller has put inside the book. Though it is small but it means a lot.Secondly, the condition of the book is fine. There is little pen markings in some of the pages. Rest other is good. This is used book so no complain. I got this book for 383 rupees.
