About the Author Saeed Akhtar Mirza is a multiple award-winning director of films (among others, Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Ata Hai and Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro), documentaries (including An Actor Prepares and Is Anybody Listening? ) and television serials (Nukkad, Intezaar, and others). He is also an essayist, political activist, writer and traveller. Saeed has been called an angry radical, an anarchist and a lot of other things, but he considers himself a leftist Sufi. This is his third book, and he lives in Mumbai and Goa.
