Wonderful Pomegranate Live Plant - Punica granatum - Wellspring Gardens Starter Plant

Looked healthy and well potted on arrival. No visible pests. Gave her a drink and put her in the nursery, hopefully to harden off and move outdoors in spring. No complaints. Wish me luck! Why did you pick this product vs others?: Was the cultivar I wanted.

Received two small, strong, healthy poms today. Some may worry about the size but poms are very hardy and I have seen poms this size thrive after a year in a pot and a year in the ground. I am very happy to find this variety! I have a few rare poms here in California; Parfianka, Sweet and Desertnyi. My in-laws who live in a cold zone 7 region wanted to grow them and didn't think it would be possible but I remember reading about this great cold hardy variety and sure enough could only find it here online. I ordered two so they would have back up. I think they are going to grow them in pots and plan on putting them in the garage in the winter perhaps one day putting one in the ground when they sre big since we are still skeptical about a pom surviving in the snow. They wanted to try growing an avocado but I know that would probably not work out well so I am glad that I can provide them this as a great alternative since no one grows poms in their area. I am sure they will be the envy of many gardeners in their town. In fact I am envious that I don't have any more room for one myself.

Apparently the hurricane delayed shipping. Arrived dead. Beautiful at one point. Before it withered to brown in the box. Ashamed such a good.looking tree was murdered. Disappointed. Ordered 5 trees, 3 different suppliers, same time, all arrived in great condition except this

The size is good , like price for small item but risk of quality of plant, like better than larger mor e expensive, less loss large sum of money if plant does not thrive, smaler cost less to lose if plant does not thrive

I ordered this pomegranate and a fig. The plants are very small, but mine came well packaged and healthy. It might help that the nursery is in Florida and I live not far from them, so they came quickly. It will be a year or two before these plants get to a reasonable size, but I was expecting that when I ordered them. What I didn’t expect is how robust they are.

This plant was had moss over the top of the tiny pot. I don't think they should sell a plant this small in most instances it will not survive in average conditions of a home as a house plant. I have a green house and it is doubtful it will survive.

This pomegranate plant is to replace one out of two (from a different company )that did not live.

healthy plants well packaged arrived in good shape and are doing okay, even one i accidentally uprooted is growing again. UPDATE: I ordered these in May 2018 and now in May of 2019 they are thriving, blooming and doing well. I did lose two pomegranate plants but they were ordered elsewhere and for much more $$. I am back again to see if this seller has any bougainvillea plants. I highly recommend this seller's plants. I am one satisfied customer.
