Built Like a Tank, Moves Like a Pro
When you get serious about your home studio, you stop messing around with flimsy mic stands that wobble if someone in the next county sneezes. The Griffin 11FT Rolling Boom Stand is the moment you grow up. This thing is massive, stable, smooth to adjust, and rolls like it owns the place. I can position a mic exactly where I want it without doing yoga poses or stacking random boxes. The telescopic arm reaches farther than common sense says it should, and the whole stand feels like it was built for an actual studio, not a bedroom setup held together with hope. If you have heavy mics, awkward angles, drum kits, tall vocalists, or just want your space to look like you mean business, get a couple of these. They are worth every penny. Five stars

Best stand I own!
I can’t say enough great things about this Griffin microphone stand. I have multiple stands in my studio, including some that are bigger and heavier, but this one stands out as the most mobile and durable over time. Unlike many heavy-duty stands, the wheels are easy to attach, making it effortless to move around. It securely holds my expensive microphones without tipping over, and the counterweight is a major plus for stability. At this price point, I’d choose this stand over and over again rather than spending $200+ on other heavy-duty options. Highly recommended!

Far exceeds expectations - very high quality and rugged construction
These were to replace a lackluster Pyle PMKS56 whose boom could barely support the lightest of microphones. The GRIFFINs are all welded steel tubing - very sturdy and stable. The wheels are high-quality ball bearing locking casters with rubber/urethane tires and ball-bearing hubs in the wheels. The quadrant style pivot for the boom has a nice smooth motion and positive lock - does not slip at all. Plus there is a substantial, movable counterweight on the boom. The only thing I can criticize is there should be crush-bushings inside the tubing where the pivot and lock bolts pass thru the tubing. This does not affect usability at all - but would mitigate potential squashing of the tubing if the locking lever was overtightened. These are as good as it gets for the $$ - if you are looking at them... BUY SOME - they do not disappoint.

Love this Mike stand
I love everything about this mic stand. It’s strong, big, not too complicated. Has wheels that work well, so you can slide it from room to room in your studio and the counterweight is great, it is strong with solid support and for the price it is excellent don’t think you’ll get a better deal for a new stand. This is definitely not one of those cheapo 20 a $30 mic stands more like the pro ultimate support type. I’ve only had to stand for about two weeks, but seems like it’s going to do well in my studio.

Very big. Very sturdy. Very heavy.
I was looking for a boom stand with a long reach that I could trust to not tip over. This definitely fits the bill. It's easy to use and can extend a truly incredible distance without losing balance. The only downside is that it's extremely heavy (of course, since that's part of what makes it stable) and takes up a lot of space. When set it, it has a pretty big footprint, and even when broken down for storage, it's still extremely long.

Heavy duty, multipurpose stand.
Rock solid! Very heavy, & takes up a lot of floor space, but puts the shotgun mic out of the camera's view. Also can hold a Vidpro on camera led light panel overhead for hair lighting using a Zoom mic clip adapter. Holds a GoPro camera for overhead shots as well. Great stand, fair price.

Very good value for these nice mic stands. Easy to assemble and very functional. Good quality for the price.

Sturdy, Easy to Set Up
I received this mic stand within 5 days of ordering it. Set up took only about 5 minutes and required minimum tools. The stand itself is quite sturdy when the base is fully extended, but if you try to minimize the radius of the bottom, it will not be as sturdy. That said, it is a perfect fit in my home studio, because it allows me to extend my condenser mic closer to me while remaining out of frame. It has much better reach than your average boom-style mic stand. I appreciate the inclusion of two cable clips to keep everything tidy. Overall, a great product. I especially like the fact that it was made in the USA.
