Ryzen 1700x is overpriced and does not include heat sink fan..
If you see the reviews you will notice that the seller has smartly mixed reviews of all Ryzen series and you will see people saying value for money and all.. The seller did not disclose that it doesn't have a heatsink fan which costs alot. I am getting 2700 for 24399/- with wraith spire cooler online..

I am happy
The product came in a decent packaging. This CPU is for both gaming and workstation pc. However mine will mainly handle tasks such as rendering and game design, which is the best CPU right now to it's price ratio to performance, also I would suggest others to go for a decent overcloackable MOBO along with it. I went for Rog crosshair VI hero. You can achieve 4 to 4.1 GHz on this CPU with good cooling.

Brilliant processor for multi tasking as well as designing
Brilliant processor for multi tasking as well as designing. I use it in an Asus B350F Strix Gaming MoBo with 64 GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti and 500GB SSD along with 4TB HDD. Fairs well while running latest games as well. I would definitely recommend this product to any designer or gamer who wants to build a powerful PC without breaking the bank.

Awesome processor, bad pricing by retailers.
Don't be confused by the negative ratings you see for Ryzen series of processors on Amazon. The 7 series of Ryzen processors can beat current intel i5 lineup. These are the tasks which ryzen is currently good at : Multi-threaded applications like video, graphics editing, compression, development, workstation.Games are optimized for Intel but with Ryzen the picture is changing, and anyways the small difference wont in performance difference in gaming wont be noticeable by human eye.The problem here is the retailers are pricing this product too high and users are giving negative ratings for the price given by retailers which is unrelated to product review as the actual product price is less. This results in skewed statistics for average users. This I have seen not only for Ryzen but for most of the new hardware on Amazon.I would suggest users to rate the processor rather than the retailer.

For £170 this thing is a monster!
As the title says, this CPU is a monster for the price! I currently have mine clocked to 4Ghz and it is beast on the desktop and in Games. This is a fantastic CPU, definitely worth taking a peak if you're wanting to start in PC Gaming and not have to pay ridiculous prices that Intel are offering. This CPU is super close in terms of performance to the i7 7700k and half the price!Easy to install and easy to control with the help of the Ryzen Master software where you can Tweak your custom or premade 'gaming' preset which clocks the CPU up to 4Ghz for you without the worry of voltages and timings on your RAM.Now this CPU won't be churning out games on Max settings but I've been playing majority of my beefy titles like GTAV, Watchdogs 2, Witcher 3, AC Origins and all on Very High settings paired with my 980Ti with either MSAA or MSAAx2 - MSAA with maybe 2 or 3 frames dropped here and there - MSAAx2 with around maybe 4 or 6 frames dropped, so it's definitely playable if you want to get a little better quality but the regular MSAA is your best bet if you want to play Very High settings with 60fps 98% of the time 👌🏻

Outdated but going strong
Had some minor issues since I bought it at launch. Ram speeds and all that. After a few flashes, the CPU is quite amazing. Runs CS:GO above 300 fps ( average 200 if you play 128 tick servers ), and around 150 with dips to 100 on 24 player DM. That is on all low settings, although I am fairly certain it does bottleneck my 1060. Then again, CS:GO is super CPU intensive so keep that in mind.Streaming at 1080p and 48 fps seems to affect the performance very little. I barely notice dips when recording/streaming.Also gets 200+ fps on League at medium settings.

Powerful little monster
Such a powerful little monster. Handles very well every game I throw at it, with maxed out settings. Mine is cooled by a Corsair H80i V2, and the temps stay at ~30 degrees Celsius in idle and around 50 degrees Celsius in games, with no overclocking done.It works perfectly well with my GTX 1080 and 16 GB Ram, and I'm yet to encounter any compatibility or performance issue.I would totally recommend this CPU and the overall rating says it all, anyway.

An excellent CPU
As with most CPU's etc.. you're fced wit the silicone lottery.. My CPU top's out at 3.8Ghz I couldn't push it more.. (perhaps I could if I was more experenced). I wasn't prepared to fry my CPU. I got a shop in my town to buld my PC. I couldn't comment on how easy it was to install and set up. I use my PC for gaming and streaming most of the time. It handles the latest titles with ease. Well worth the money even now the 2700 is out.. This CPU will be a bargain.. buy it.
