This works for me. I only use it on occasion for allergy/stuffy nose at night and it works well throughout the night. I must admit it is expensive but again, it does work.

I have used Nasacort for years. Helps me with allegeries immensely. I buy here on Amazon because of good price and fast delivery. Does not make me drowsy. No side effects.

I have limited seasonal allergies -- specific allergies to certain tree pollens in the spring and leaf mold in the fall. Other than that, I don't usually have serious problems with allergies. Each allergy "season" lasts 2-3 weeks, but I get the full-blown allergic response: watery/swollen eyes, stuffy/runny nose, sneezing, etc. I also have asthma and COPD (emphysema), so I have to be careful with meds to make sure there's no negative interaction with my other pulmonary meds. My doc had prescribed Flonase -- no effect at all. Seriously, I might as well have squirted water up my nose. So I checked with him about trying this OTC Nasacort, got his OK, and ordered. IT WORKS!! Honestly, it worked so much better than I had expected. It took about 3 days to build up, and after that, I had almost no symptoms. I'd say it was probably 90% effective. I used it just until evergreen pollen season was over (about 2 to 2.5 weeks, tops). I never had any issues with insomnia, but that may be because I took it only for a couple of weeks. I'll take it again in the fall when the "leaf mold season" starts again. I wish I could find something that was 100% effective with no side effects, but so far, it hasn't happened. This works OK for now, so 4 stars ("I like it") from me.
