hey guys, this is one of the BEST products for daily hygiene out there. this thing will last you a lifetime. i'm so freaking excited about this, i feel like i wanna get this for people as christmas stocking stuffers. let me tell you how it works. basically you just hold the steel long part, and scrape from the back of your tongue to the front with the loop side, i do it about 6 times like a lawnmower going across a patch of grass...and watch all the nasty thick liquidy crap that is scraped out as a result. you think you brush well? dude i use a Sonicare AND i floss, and i use the Tongue Sweeper AFTER all that, and i STILL have crap to scrape off. how do i know it works for bad breath? we all know what nasty morning breath smells like, and breath that builds up in the mouth during the day. if you scrape your tongue, and have the gooey mess left on the loop, SMELL it...it smells like that nasty morning breath. so with this device, you are literally scraping bad breath away. how much do you spend on breath mints and gum in a lifetime? this tool is a one time purchase and will last the rest of your life. i recommend getting TWO, one at home and one at work.

I've used this tongue sweeper for seven years. It's held up well, but that is to be expected given it's material and construction. You will need multiple passes with this sweeper to cover the entire tongue area, however I don't see this as a downside since the sweeper isn't uncomfortably large to use.The cleaning edge is slightly rounded which is neither overly soft or overly sharp. If your tongue is really dirty you may need a second pass to thoroughly clean it, but I never felt the cleaning edge was too sharp or harsh. I'm very happy with this tongue sweeper.

I got this after reading the bad reviews of other brand tongue scrapers that are plastic, how they break and do not even clean well. Well I have now been using this for two days and wow, it works so well. I used it this morning and it is 4 o'clock in the after noon and my mouth still feels really fresh. Not only is it a strong cure for breath problems but my tongue looks more healthy and pink like the other reviewers noted, and this is only after 3 uses! I can only imagine it will get better the more I use it. So my verdict is 5/5 and well worth the money, use this with mouth wash and it's a killer combination for dental hygiene.Buyers may be wary spending 13 bucks on a tongue scraper but it is worth the money because you will literally never have to buy another one, it is made out of surgical steel and the metal is coated with a coating that makes water just bead off of it, I don't think it will ever wear out.

FINALLY! I don't know why, but my tongue needs a good scraping twice a day. It gets lots of scum that interferes with taste and gives me bad breath. But my plastic Breath Remedy tongue scraper broke, and I can't find them anywhere. The new plastic ones are so dull they don't get all the scum out. I bought this one because one reviewer emphasized that it really cleaned deep down, and it does. It is sharp, but it doesn't hurt my tongue. It doesn't bend, so it can't break. The different colored bands mean that everyone in the family can have one and keep them separate.

Placed order on Tuesday night and received on Friday.Cons:a bit priceyOverall:I've tried many of the plastic/rubber ones, some made me gag badly, some doesn't scrap off anything. Plastic and rubber are not the right material to make tongue scrappers in general. Go for a metal one. The cheap sub 2 dollar metal strips are also good, but this one is more appealing to eyes.

A little higher on the pricey side, but well worth the amount you've paid for it. It has no funky stainless steel taste to it and it seems very durable. The curved accent on the body adds to the durability of the sweeper against horizontal pressure when you're using. In short, you know it'll last. Allows you to reach farther back due to its smaller head without triggering the gag reflex. All in all, if you need to clean your tongue regularly to slow down the build up of crap on your tongue and tonsils, get this. You won't be disappointed.

Bought two of these and I am glad I did. I keep one in my dop kit for traveling. I have always had a hard time getting my tongue clean and this does the job. If you try to clean your tongue with a hard bristle tooth brush like I do (did), do yourself a favor and buy one or two of these. You will be glad you did. I still brush my tongue with a hard bristle brush after using the sweeper, but probably more out of habit than anything else. You will be grossed out by what you scrape off the back of your tongue!

Only complaint is that you can't choose your color band that it comes with.
