IBD Pro-Hybrid Nail Control Gel, Clear LED/UV Nail Enhancement Gel, 2 oz

UPDATE:Very very impressed with this polygel!I was hesitant to try another brand but IBD has a great reputation -I thought there has to be something better out there for the do it yourselfers. All the brands I've tried only lasted 2-3 days and start lifting or I had to wear gloves to do everything and they still lifted.Wished I would have bought this before trying the other brands.It's important to prep and clean your nail bed thoroughly, apply a good UV/LED base gel polish thenI apply the control gel using 99% isopropyl alcohol as my slip solution, dabbing my brush slighty after on a paper towel then use brush to shape polygel. You want your brush wet, but not dripping wet. If the polygel starts to look too "grainy" when you're brushing then you need to use more slip solution. Let it clear up and self level a bit before putting in lamp. Your nail with uncured polygel should look nice and glossy before putting it in the lamp if it's properly applied.I like how easy the polygel is to apply to nail forms, way easier to shape than other brands.I used to have to use a dual forms or fake nail to get a proper shape.Shape with a nail file or an e-file for a nice smooth nail. Clean your filed nails again with isopropyl alcohol on a LINT FREE pad.*I still use a base coat OVER the polygel for added durability, add color gel and then top coat.Wish this was available on Amazon.caI used Bio Seaweed LED/UV gel base, color and top coat.I did 4 different syles of nails on myself with only 1 fill in between from growth of this brand with out any lifting that's how good this stuff really is. I WONT buy any other brand now.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would. I'm a licensed pro, 35 years in the beauty biz. Ive used a lot of nail products but ibd never disappoints, this is no exception. No heat spikes like knock off polygel and it moves into place perfectly while staying put when you need it to. The finished nails are excellent and the wear is amazing. I'll buy this over and over!

Very forgiving product. It's not sticky at all. Very thick consistency. It has a bit of a grainy texture before filing. If you're looking for something that will be clear / transparent this is not a good choice. Even though it's a clear product. It has a very grainy look to it. Not good for encapsulating products. But if you're just looking to put polish over it then that doesn't matter.

This polygel is excellent! The clarity is great, only a tiny bit foggy (but could be user error). Very easy to move, and not runny, and blends from bead to bead easily and smoothly. Cures completely in a good UV LED lamp. Very easy to file and shape.

I tried multiple hybrid gels but none of them was like this one. It doesn't run, it stays where you put it, it's stiffer but not hard to work with and it's not as sticky as any other brands out there.

Love how clear this is and it's not super sticky. My only complaint is that since the formula is thick, when squeezing the tube the back seam busted and I now have to glue it closed after each use because it keeps opening up. Possibly a faulty tube, but again the product inside the tube is great!

The back of the tube broke out the first use leave me without the product after waiting weeks for it to arrive!

Great for professional use. Nails last for 4 weeks. My clients love it.
