I just got mine in the mail and used it right away. I have a nightmare of thick and wavy hair, and spent most of last night tossing and turning. Basically, it looked like one of those kitchen scratch pads in a lovely shade of auburn in the back. This brush got that mess out in no time, with just a little tugging and pulling. While it's in no way "pain free," it's a huge step forward. Whoever designed this brush, (Mr. Mercier?) deserves a high five... or a fist bump... or whatever the kids are doing these days.

I really like this brush and have ordered several. It gets the tangles out great. It is an attractive brush as well. Just be sure when you go to wash it to turn it bristle side down to dry as there are tiny holes where the bristles are that will collect water inside the brush. If not for this it would be a better product. I always make sure all water is out before using. A little worried about potential mold inside the brush. As I said before I have bought several in each color and each color is for a different thickness of hair. Not sure I will buy anymore because of the water issue but they really do get the tangles out and I will use them until I deem that the water issue has molded the inside of the brush. My oldest one which is pink [ had it about a year ] started smelling of mold so I trashed it. Guess I will do the same with the others...

This is a great brush for kids with long think hair. My 6 year old has very long very thick wavy hair and would cry every time I would brush her hair. This brush has cut down on the tangles in her hair and doesn't seem to get stuck and pull as bad as a regular hair brush. I didn't think it was going to make a difference but she was begging me to buy this brush so for about $15 I thought it was worth a try. To my surprise it works very well, a lot less crying. The only thing I don't like about it is the handle, its a weird shape and is a clear plastic. I feel like if I drop this brush the plastic will crack, I wish the design of the handle was more sturdy... So we are just careful with it.

Terrific. I bought this after doing lots of research for a Granddaughter that has thick long hair and it always seems to be matted. I bought her the top 2 Detangling brushes so she could make her own comparison and this one won out....she loves it and it WORKS. Thank you Michel Mercier for designing this brush.

I bought this for my 4 year old who was complaining about her hair being brushed. This brush makes it alot less painful, though it seems to brush the top layer and you still need a regular brush to get all the hair layers afterward. Life has become much less tearful with this little guy.

I love this brush,second one I bought ,my other one lasted about 5 years. This is the only brush I will ever use on my hair. It makes my hair look healthy and shinny. I love love this brush.

My daughter loves her brush. It works well for her thick hair. She is more willing to brush her hair now.

The only issue I have with this brush is the bristles we're not pink like I was expecting it to be they were actually black

I have had the hardest time finding ways to detangle my hair and have it not hurt while brushing it, and this has met all my expectations and more! It detangles my hair, wet or dry, so easily!

I am unsure if the brush works better then my regular brushes. It doesn't hold the loose strands of hair very well in brush so kind of comb like. over all its not bad, just not what i was expecting out of it.

I bought this brush after we saw a neighbor girl using this exact brush. My 7yo twins did not like it. It left hair in the brush and hurt them so much that they hid the brush after the first use. I went back to the neighbor to get her thoughts and she told me that she had the same complaints.

Hurts the kids when I brush their hair with it, the Shark one is much better.

My daughter convinced me she needed this. She has incredibly thick hair, so finding a brush that doesn't pull out her hair or cause tremendous pain can be a challenge. This isn't it! This pulls out hair, leaving the wad of hair in the rigid bristles as evidence. Stick with the Wet Brush.

My son has long curly hair. Before this brush he used to dread getting his hair brushed but now he likes it, this brush doesn't seem to hurt him. Great purchase.
