Suprisingly wonderful! Highly recomended!
To be honest I was nervous after opening the box and starting the assembly... it looked cheap and weak. However I was completely impressed once I turned it on! There is nothing weak about this little fan. It moves plenty of air to make a nice cool breeze in our 9 ft. tall 10x13 gazebo. In south Georgia that's impressive!

Awesome air flow. Portable, just need a hook and 110v power source.
Pleasantly surprised. I was not expecting much from this fan. Super quiet. Awesome air flow. Movable to wherever you need it. Don’t hesitate to buy this fan. Came in a small box. At first I thought the wrong item had been sent until I opened it up.I installed it in my garage with a hook overhead. My garage door hits it when opened fully. Have done this several times by accident. Fan still working fine. I figured any fan that can take that kind of abuse and still keep purring along deserved 5 stars.

Perfect outdoor fan
After trying out the gazebo fan from Lowe's for $100, it barely made a breeze. This little number not only is a perfect size for what I needed, it creates a great breeze. I needed black, something a couple of dollars of plastic spray paint fixed. If it lasts only a year, I'd be happy and but another. 😊

Good fan, just the basics
I rent so getting a regular ceiling fan was not an option. This has been a great fan for my needs but it does have some drawbacks too.Pros:Easy installSlightly shorter than a full size fan (good for low ceilings)Relatively quietCons:Too short cord (the on/off toggle is only about 5 ft from the fan)Only 1 speed (high)Jerks hard when starting (needs anchoring so the base doesn’t spin with the blades)

Powerful little fan
I was looking for a small outdoor ceiling fan to install on my front porch. Before going through the brain damage of running wiring to install a more traditional ceiling fan, I started looking for a "temporary" ceiling fan and found this gem. Honestly, I did not have particularly high expectations for this fan, but I figured I would give it a shot; I am glad that I did. This little fan moves a lot of air. I would certainly recommend this fan for anyone looking for a ceiling fan to use on a front porch, tent or other location where permanent installation may not be feasible.

Died quickly
Update- it died after 3 months. I'm not happy. It was a problem putting it up. Make sure you screw in to a stud or the hook will turn in the anchor and the whole fan will spin and the wire will curl around it very quickly. The cord should be at least twice the length. I think everyone would need an extension cord. Poorly thought out. This fan works well in my room is around 76 degrees. I don't have to use the ac at all between this, my wall fan, and window fan. I've been sleeping with a sheet instead of blanket and it gets too cold in here in the middle of the night so I turn the other fans off and leave this one on. I feel like it should have been a little bit cheaper though. Don't expect it to blow like a big fan but for someone who doesn't have a fixture to install a real one, this is decent. It works better for me when I'm lounging and watching TV. Not really enough to keep me comfortable while I sleep. 😥 It's only 11 watts though so it's helping my electric bill. Once I started using all these fans instead of the air I've gone from using 46kwh a day to only 6. It ends up paying for itself in the first bill. If I had a choice to do it again I might try to find a bigger and stronger one. Still not horrible. It does make noise when its on. Not white noise, it's like the metal is clicking against the hook. It wakes me up so I use earplugs.

Just what I was looking for.
My fan arrived today and I just finished putting it up in my kitchen which is the hottest room in the house during the summer. I have ceiling fans in all the other rooms but this room was a problem with two ceiling lights with no place to mount a regular fan --but this one fits between and the exterior wiring is a snap. All it took was a three inch hook to attach into a joist through the ceiling sheet rock to hang the fan motor.MY only criticism is that the cord is too short to run across a ceiling and down a wall without an extension cord. In my case I only needed a two foot extension, but of course, they don't make those. So I had to settle for a 6 foot extension and hide the extra cord.Otherwise an excellent product and just what I was looking for.

Good buy for the price
I have this in my bedroom. I'm renting so installing a ceiling fan just isn't going to happen. This was a great solution for me. It's pretty quiet and moves a lot of air. The instructions aren't very readable. They seem like they were directly translated from google or something. But it's simple to figure out how it works and how to put it together. It gives a hard jerk when it first comes on so you have to make sure your hook is secure in a stud or it will come falling down. Also the cord is really short and the switch is maybe 5 feet from the fan so it might as well not even be there. You'll want to make sure you get your self a little extension cord if you buy this.
