Yes, Brillianize can be safely used on so called 'museum' glass. Plastics with the UV protection blended into the substrate can be safely cleaned with Brillianize without damaging the substrate or UV protection. Nearly every major museum uses Brillianize on their display cases. If your UV protection is provided by a film appliqué you must be sure that the film is not damaged (scratches, holes or worn). If the film is damaged the capillary action may draw the fluid (any fluid) under the film and cause it to slough off, this is especially true for older UV film that has been exposed to direct sunlight and has suffered UV damage.

Q: can this be used on glass?

Yes... it works great on my aquarium glass. When using it it appears it does not wipe off completely but once you wipe it and leave it alone it drys crystal clear

Not sure. Ive only used on plexiglass coffee table for 30 yrs. with no problems.
