CLENZ-A-DENT RF2 Water Additive/Mouth Rinse is a palatable and refreshing solution for the reduction of plaque and bad breath in dogs and cats. CLENZ-A-DENT RF2 contains a unique patented ingredient. RF2 breaks down the biofilm made by bacteria present in the mouth. Biofilm is the first step to plaque and tartar build-up. Therefore CLENZ-A-DENT RF2 disrupts the formation of biofilm and thus prevents plaque build-up and tartar. RF2 also restores the mouth's natural bacterial balance.

Saved me $$$ instead of going to the vet!
This product is amazing!!! It saved me thousands of dollars in vet bills. My cat Bandit had been drooling, lethargic, and had terrible breath, he had also stopped eating and grooming himself due to the pain in his mouth making his once white mouth and chest fur turn yellow and sticky. We were concerned he had either gingivitis or a rotten tooth. I googled his symptoms and inquired the local vet prices which were extremely expensive since they said they would have to anesthetize him to evaluate him and do a dental cleaning and that it would cost around 1500-2000 for the procedure. I was devastated bc I love my cat, but I had nowhere near enough in my savings to spend that kind of money and still survive. So I did some research and decided I was going to try to brush his teeth and use this mouth rinse as not only a water additive but also a daily rinse for him. While brushing his teeth we noticed his back teeth were very yellow and caked in tartar and plaque! However we noticed a difference within 3 days! He started eating again and began grooming himself again. He even started playing with his toys and dental chew sticks! We noticed his back teeth were no longer yellow and the plaque and tartar were almost gone& his breath smelled immensely better. With our daily teeth brushing (he hated it at first, but he’s used to it now and let’s us brush his teeth with no issues) added to his dental regimen he was pretty much back to normal! My friend who’s a vet tech told me that he probably had something minor and the vet would have probably done the same exact thing in the office and recommended a mouth rinse and daily teeth brushing for him. I highly recommend this product for anyone who thinks their pet needs some dental care!

Recommended by my vet - on my second bottle!
My dog has had terrible teeth since she was a puppy. For some reason she just doesnt like to chew bones so she has plaque build up. A few months ago she had even more teeth pulled and the vet recommended that we use this. We just finished the first bottle and got the second. It's working well so far. You can either squirt it in their mouth (which if your dog is like mine and fights you, you get more all over her face than in her mouth) OR you can add 5 ml into 2 cups of water. We started doing this and it is working wonders. She doesn't always drink the whole bowl but she gets pretty close and I think even still she is getting more than when we were squirting it.I saw some other reviews that said the liquid is yellowish and has a faint scent to it. This is true, but it is completely normal. The bottle we got from the vet directly had exactly the same thing. I would not worry about it, so long as your bottle arrives sealed. Her breath is fresher and she doesn't seem to mind the water - I guess it's not enough of a taste to put her off of it. The best part is that this isn't an item that you can only get from the vet (we asked and they said it was not a prescription item) so it is safe to purchase here. It is also exactly half the price of what the vet was charging.

Clenz-a-Dent Rinse 3-yr Update
After the vet told me my small, 13-year-old Papillon-Terrier mix would have to be put under for dental cleaning for a third year in a row--to the tune of $500-600 each time--I asked for alternatives. The dog won't let me brush her teeth, so the vet recommended Clenz-a-Dent rinse. My dog didn't seem to notice there was anything different about her water. After one year of consistent, daily use, she passed her dental check this year with no plaque or tartar, and no dental cleaning! Hallelujah!Update Mar 2018:The miracle of my one old dog's teeth staying clean, using only Clenz-a-Dent, as I described a few years ago, apparently is not repeating itself in my other dogs. I have a 15-year-old dog with slightly crowded back teeth who has been drinking Clenz-a-Dent water for 4 years, and she drinks a lot of water, but her teeth are not good. I have an 11-year-old dog I adopted a year ago who has only been drinking Clenz-a-Dent water for that amount of time, and granted, he also has access to a bowl of untreated water. The vet says I need to give them both dentals. Even at a discounted price, I can't afford almost $2,000 to save my old dogs' teeth. My point, though, is that the results I had in one dog are not happening in the other two. It probably works much better if you begin to give it to your dogs when they're young.

It works! Worth every penny of the investment!
This stuff works great if you use it daily. My dogs breath smells much better. I started using it on one of my dogs after I had her teeth cleaned. Her breath has been fine after a year. The other dog hasn't had his teeth cleaned for over a year. It is working, but I think it would work better if you used it after your dogs teeth are cleaned. You must be a loyal user though. I put it in their fresh water daily and I make sure their water dish is clean. I'm on my 3rd bottle. My picky dogs never hesitated on drinking the water with this solution in it from day one. I'm sure this will cut down on the teeth cleaning costs! I've tried several other products that didn't work, or my dogs wouldn't go near their water.

Clenz a dent is a great product and easy to use. My dog also loves the taste.
We have used this product before and it is outstanding. It is a light gel that you spread on the dog's gums and tongue. As they lick it, it works with the salvia to get to all the hard to reach places. I use it after every meal. After his evening meal, I also give him a greenie so that his teeth are coated with the clenz a dent as well as the chlorophyll.Once a day I use a small amount on a baby wash cloth and rub his teeth as best I can. He's 10 and has not lost any teeth. Its not like they can tell us when they get a bad tooth. Usually we find out after they have been in a lot of pain and the tooth has abscessed.

Helps remove tartar
I am handling 300+ pounds of dog. 3 dogs. Their water is in 2 large stainless steel horse buckets. Soap and water washed out, touch of bleach to steamy rinse twice a day. Very disturbed by a review which spoke of changing the water at least once a week. !?!? This additive is for plaque control. Not water purification. Dogs happily drink their water. Not bothered by additive. My one fellow who had terrible tartar on his back teeth has slowly lost it layer by layer in the months since I started using it.
