Bot Shots – 2-ounce Retro-style Robot Shot Glasses, Set of 3

Unique and attractive, these robot-head shot glasses are the perfect gift for the techie drinker. The quality is good, although the unit I ordered has small blemishes on the face which are hardly noticeable. Stackable and compact, these ceramic cups are heavy at the base so are not easy to tip over. Look forward to seeing similar items in this category.

Poor quality decals turn this cute idea into a swing and a miss. The decals on the set that I have are obviously on top of the ceramic glaze layer, rather than being protected by a layer of clear glaze. It's pretty obvious they'll rub right off. And there are several areas where the color of the cup comes through the decal because the decal did not completely transfer to the cup. And there are several places where the decals aren't aligned correctly with each other, or they're crooked, or they don't match up with the contour of the glass.Rather than use them for drinking anything, these are still sitting in their box in the kitchen cabinet...I haven't decided whom to give them to yet, but it'll be "here's some cute robot cubes to hold stuff on your desk" rather than "here are some usable and cute shot glasses". The recipient will have to be a person who's less particular about item quality than I am!

Well, if you like shots containing paint chips, these are for you. Not only did the paint around the ears wash off after hand-washing the first time, when I went to take my first shot, there were red paint chips in my shot glass where the manufacturer painted over the ceramic with touch up paint. These are not safe to drink out of. If you do, carefully look for paint chips. Made in China.

These are cute little shot glasses. They are a conversation starter as they are an unusual vessel to drink out of. The only negative on these is that the ears or knobs on the sides are round but when someone painted them, they did not make a round circle so they look like a child painted them. It is kind of haphazard and messy looking. It is not very noticeable though unless you look at them close up. The fronts are ok because they seem to be decals. These could also be used as small candle holders for votives or tea lights. There are a lot of uses for these little containers. I am giving these 4 stars because of the painting quality. Overall, I am very happy with them and will put them to good use. I received a complimentary product in exchange for a fair and honest review.

These are huge, but made very well. I think they are being used more for decoration. You could even put candles or plants in them, too cute.
