If you want a through book about dogo's, then this is the book for you. Nice pictures, and making it as clear understanding of the breed and descriptions as possible of standard make it enjoyable reading. After your done reading you don't have any questions, whether you want to be a owner of the breed or not.

This book is very detailed in everything you need to know about your Dogo Argentino or your future friend. I have a Dogo I love very much and after just reading a few chapters I understand him better and love him even more. The book has proper care of your Dogo Argentino, the history, and many other topics on the Dogo Argentino's. This is a must have for any Dogo owner.

My puppy ate the first edition copy my boyfriend had. I wanted to replace the Dogo book not only b/c it was the right thing to do, but also b/c I love reading about the breed. We still have the Dogo - just on the 2nd book! The Dogo rules the house and we take the terrier pup's destruction of the first book as an opinion.Very similar to 1st edition and excellent source about the breed.

Very comprehensive book and has expanded my knowledge before my first dogo purchase. Would recommend to any prospective dogo owner.

Definitely worth the time, great training tips. It also provides a good foundation on how to better understand the behavior of your Dogo.

First & foremost this is a very good specific breed book of the Dogo Argentino. I rated this review 2 stars because it is to my understanding I was paying for a "New Book." Instead I receive a book with a "crayon mark" & the former owners name & address written on the inside of the cover.

Most of the information was pretty good but there's a lot of generic information that would be applicable to all big dogs or dogs in general - info on grooming, training etc. The breed-specific content is limited to a history of the breed, in depth description of the standard and a nice section on Dogo behavior. If that chapter was available on it's own, I would just buy that. As it is, I thought it was a bit expensive for a lot of repeat information, but if this is your first dog book - it's very thorough.

Really shallow book.You can read the whole thing without coming up with anything worth the money you pay for it.

Excellent complete guide to understanding our newest family member. A great resource to understanding a magnificent breed. A easy and comprehensive read.
