Fantastic value for money
Fantastic value for money, been wanting one of these for ages but normally too expensive. Put together no problem with cordless drill however need to be gentle with the screws, use setting number 8 and pulse when drilling.

Great value and sturdy
I got quoted three times the price for this box by another company for our weight lifting club. The synergee box is very sturdy and we use it for all sorts of step up activities. It was easy to assemble and has handles for moving it. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to all other coaches.

Great quality well made box, easy to assemble.
Item arrived quickly and as expected is flat packed ready to assemble. The pieces are precision cut and made of nice quality wood and fit together snuggly with no gaps or protruding pieces. Once assembled the box likes like it was put together in a factory. This plyo box has a nice weight to it and is very solid. On my wooden gym floor the box slides around slightly but this is not a problem as I place a foam gym mat underneath to prevent this from happening. As far as looks, this item looks well in place in the corner of my gym when not in use. When in use it is very sturdy and great for raising my legs off the ground for press ups, sit ups etc. I weigh 89kg and the box easily takes my weight jumping up onto it without any worries. The larger boxes have an internal frame work to help make them more solid. This size box has no internals as none are needed and makes the box easier to build. Assembly is simple, find a clear flat surface to construct the box on, ( I used my breakfast bar ) and locate the bottom panel, then slot the sides into place one by one and hold together with a couple of screws in each panel so the pieces do not fall apart when you let go. Then place the top on the box and secure the whole box with the rest of the screws being careful that the pieces are all snuggly fitted together. Tip: Make sure you have all the pieces up the correct way before you screw them together or the numbers will display upside on the sides once assembled. Be sure to have both side handles the same way up too. The handles are easy to use and move the box around even though there is some weight to this item once assembled. The handles are sanded nicely so not to splinter the users hands. I particularly like the way the numbers and logo are lightly burnt into the sides of the box. Looks nicely done. I dropped one star off because of the black screws. They look really nice being black against the wooden surface but as other reviewers pointed out the screws are soft and the heads do chew up a little. There are 80 screws to assemble my box and luckily I was supplied with 83 as I managed to only chew up 2 screw heads even though I was being careful. The best way is to allow yourself plenty of time to assemble so you don’t rush and damage the screws. I preferred to use an cordless driver rather than an manual screwdriver as there are so many screws. Now like other reviewers explained there are no fully bored pilot holes but I believe this is for a reason so the screws once driven fully bind the wood and screws together giving a nice snug and stronger fixing. There are piloted holes for every one of the screws but the do not go right the way through the other side of the timber which is not a problem. The holes are not countersunk but instead they have a much nicer shallow recess so the screw heads do not protrude on the sides of the box. In fact once installed correctly you are left with a neat snuggly finished product with no splinters, rough edges, protruding screws or gaps. Take your time to select the correct driver piece for the screw heads to prevent damage to the screw head. Put your driver on the correct settings and nice and slow. Then add a little pressure to the driver as you screw in so the bit does not spin on the soft screw head. If you feel it starting to slip, best to stop, reverse driver and remove the screw and replace screw with a new one and try again or the screw head will completely chew up and you cannot drive it in or out. Set the clutch on your driver so that it drives the screw into the recess snuggly then stops or the screw will continue to drive through the timber deep into the recess giving an ugly finish to the completed box and possibly weakening the box. If the supplied screws were stronger I would easily give this box 5 stars and I do highly recommend purchasing this item. Just be aware of the soft screws and maybe purchase some of your own in advance and take your time to assemble. Good luck!

Decent box
Prompt delivery. Fits together easily but did use my own screws. Does exactly what it’s supposed to

Terrible - you need a drill, better screws and hands of steel
This is a competitively priced item but when you receive it you know why. The holes aren't pre-drilled properly (if at all) and the screws are too soft. AVOID!

Great when it’s put together... took ages!

Buy your own screws
The screws supplied with this box are made of some very soft metal, and aren't strong enough to actually assemble the box. I recommend you buy 50 decent 3 x 30mm screws together with this box.

Relatively easy to assemble. Use a good drill. You need to tighten the screws about 60% in, so you can give the box its shape yet still have some give and be able to insert the inner braces. I got the 16/20/24. First create the outer box with the 16 and 20's, then put one of the 24s, insert the inner braces and put the final 24. The pieces lined up very well and once finished it feels very sturdy and stable to jump on to. My 12 year old saw it and challenged me to jump at the 24 inch height. Fortunately I could do it so was able to preserved some dad cred. This seems like a well crafted product. Does not wobble when jump on to it. Much better experience that a competitor's product that I had to return because of horrible workmanship

First, the box comes with incomplete instructions which doesn’t mention how to put inside support. Secondly, once I reassembled it with inside support then those supports keep moving and are unstable. It can really be only used as a stretching support. Not happy with the product and would not recommend to anyone.

The plywood actually split as I was assembling it. I'm glad I didn't use it with clients yet, I'd have probably been sued or something...
