Brilliant tales lovely books

Excellent, Highly recommended seller.Lovely box set of great stories.Bought this set as a gift for my newborn daughter. My parents used to read ladybird books to me as a child and they were also my favourite books when I was learning to read. I hope my daughter enjoys them just as much as I did.The box set looks great, unfortunately my set had two Rapunzel books and no Gingerbread Man, obviously a mistake when they were being packed and nothing to do with the seller. I contacted BOOKS4USUK via Amazon and they very kindly and quickly sent The Gingerbread Man book out to me so I could complete the collection. Excellent service from a great seller. It will be the first place I look in future when looking for books. Thanks again.

I have been looking for traditional fairy tales in a good hard back form and was delighted to find this lovely set that include all the best lived tales. The language is child friendly and it is a super addition to any book collection.

Good quality books with clear modern illustrations. Only four stars because these old fairy stories seem to have been shortened & written to be less scary than the originals. This probably makes them more appropriate for younger listeners & my granddaughters were familiar with a few of the stories from the cartoons made from the original ones. The box holding them is sturdy & they arrived undamaged.

Brilliant collection of book, bought for my three year old and she loves all of these stories.

All the stories from my childhood and I'm delighted to see the kids loving these stories also.

Traditional stories for children. My daughter has been listening to the first CD every night for a couple of years. Only downside is the volume to the music in between stories, but doesn't bother her.

Did not like these. Thought they would be like the classic ladybird books from mine & my sons era. Stories changed & illustrations are rubbish. Disappointed
