These are not great but for the money they're worth it.

I needed brushes to use in bookbinding and bought these because, frankly, they were cheap. I figured they would lose some hairs along the way but it wouldn't be anything I couldn't deal with. They've turned out to be better than I expected. Sure, some hairs have been lost - fewer than expected - but they were easy to remove from the drying glue. I just wash them with soap and water after each use to keep them in good working order. The unexpected benefit is that with three instead of one, I have a brush to use while others are drying, so I can keep working. When I finally wear these out I'll happily buy another three. I wouldn't recommend them for painting but for bookbinding they're a treat.

The brushes work okay but the brush heads popped off two of them before I even got to use them and I had to glue them back together.

These small brushes are fantastic! I needed a brush to spread out some book-binding solution, and since we use to use a small one like this in my print shop, I figured it'd be great to have again...Excellent feel.Excellent ergonomics.A bit easy to take apart (wood handle from metal sleeve) but, you have to try a bit to get it off, it won't fall apart on you.

I used these with PVA glue to bind my own custom notebooks and it worked great. After each coat, I would rinse them in water. They washed well and dried fast so I will get a lot of reuse out of these brushes.

I understand that you get what you pay for so the hairs falling out in my glue wasn't such a big deal, but when you open the pack and EVERY brush falls off the handle? I didn't expect to have to assemble the brushes before use.
