I needed brushes to use in bookbinding and bought these because, frankly, they were cheap. I figured they would lose some hairs along the way but it wouldn't be anything I couldn't deal with. They've turned out to be better than I expected. Sure, some hairs have been lost - fewer than expected - but they were easy to remove from the drying glue. I just wash them with soap and water after each use to keep them in good working order. The unexpected benefit is that with three instead of one, I have a brush to use while others are drying, so I can keep working. When I finally wear these out I'll happily buy another three. I wouldn't recommend them for painting but for bookbinding they're a treat.

Great glue brushes. They spread evenly and are also easy to clean. The size is perfect for any book. It can cover large areas but can also get small corners too.

I’m rough on my brushes I forget them in the cleaning water. I haven’t lost any bristles they don’t stick together quality is good. Right size for the amount of glue I put down.

These brushes are ok. I was using them with Barge leather cement and had them in a glue pot so they never dried out but after a couple uses the handles came out of them. It looks like the handles are glued in and I guess the Barge was breaking their glue loose. Now they may be great for a milder contact cement or a water base glue. I really liked them until the handle came out. The brush part really spread the cement well.

These are not great but for the money they're worth it.

Nice gift for an art student

I used these with PVA glue to bind my own custom notebooks and it worked great. After each coat, I would rinse them in water. They washed well and dried fast so I will get a lot of reuse out of these brushes.
