Accessory Picatinny Top Rail Hi-Point 995TS & 3895TS Aluminum Black

The rail is high quality and was easy to install. It may seem a bit pricey, but it's priced at exactly the market value for this type of accessory. If you own a 995TS, you purchased it at a low cost of entry. Purchasing these type of aluminum rails will increase the quality of your firearm one piece at a time. By the time you're done, you will have a quality custom firearm, but you will have spent nearly the same as going with a better brand right off the bat. The weaver, proprietary rails on the 995TS will lead to eventual frustration, unless you only buy accessories from Hi-Point. This rail will ensure that you can run any optic you fancy, without fail.

Finally got around to installing this new rail on my 995TS 9mm Carbine. I have to say that it is way better than the OEM polymer rail that came on the rifle. Much more rigid, and my Red Dot Reflex sight fits a lot better, and tightens down on the rail much better as well. Some may think that this rail is a little pricey, but from my perspective it's well worth the price to get a more stable platform for your Picatinny accessories. Wasn't too hard to change out once you get your receiver shroud removed. Make sure to use a little Blue Locktite on the screws when you put the new rail on. You'll need an adaptor if you want to use the original rear peep sight, but if you are going to use a red dot, or put pop-up sights on you won't need the adaptor. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this rail.

Sturdy and well made, definitely an upgrade over the original rail. at $49 its a little expensive, but then again all the rails for a Hi-Point are expensive.

This rail is perfect. Fits perfect, functions perfect, even looks perfect. Its EXACTLY (only aluminum, not plastic) the same as the rail taken off of your 995. Leery about the price point? Suck it up. You bought the gun for under 300..splurge a little and get this rail. If you have a sight on your stock weaver rail, you'll waste more money on rounds every time you need to sight in your optics. After putting on the rail my confidence in the carbine rose tremendously. I no longer have any doubt that my sight and laser are zeroed in, which is what I like when my carbine is my choice of home defense. If you're torn between which rail to get first, get the top. Its the most important when you have optics/lasers..You do have your laser on the top right?

Screwed right in place, just like it was made for it!!! Lol. Kidding aside, I did have to remove the upper plastic cover in order to get the rail set in place. Take care removing the screws holing the old rail, there are flat plates acting as nuts and they can fall into the bolt. Other than that, the replacement rail worked great

Super small rail. Its a 10 inch rail, which is the same size as the stock one, thats way over priced. If you try to add a aftermarket pair of flip up iron sights it looks very funny and handles horrible.

Purchased this to replace the top rail on my High-Point 995TS so that I could add a Sig Sauer Romeo red dot sight. Excellent quality machine work. Installed easily (read the instructions first). Nice anodizing, can't find a flaw in it. Also purchased a replacement bottom rail to add light accessory, and equally pleased with that. Well made, you'd be pleased with its quality.
