good
Re-read this book after a lifetime and really enjoyed it. Recommend it to those who have not come across it as well as a good re-read.

A trip to the past
I read this book years ago and recently watched the film with Fred Astaire and Lesley Caron. I thought I must read again and as if Amazon read my mind (if that’s the case truly spooky) I had an email about the book and I hadn’t searched for it. Loved it, the writing is delightful and the heroine a joy. Given when written still fresh and lively to read.

Such a good yarn!
I first read this book over 50 years ago but I have enjoyed it just as much now as then.A life story in the letters of one girl to an anonymous benefactor. Quite brilliant.

Five Stars
The book is beautiful but did not bring the drawinfgs of the original edition and I missed them.

Illustrations a lie, just copy and pasted black and white historical paintings.
First off, the formatting is terrible. It’s like a twelve year old took a pdf of Daddy long legs and just dragged it into printing. There are oddly placed pictures throughout the book, and pages with ‘download pdf!’ scattered throughout. Really strange. Guess you really do pay for quality.

Great story, terrible copy of the book
Sweet little story but absolutely the worst copy of a book I've come across - the "illustrations" are random pixellated pictures of mostly old men from what appears to be Shakespearian era with absolutely no relevance to the story.Paragraphs and chapters follow onto each other with random spacing, making it surprisingly challenging to read and follow parts of the story. Plus "adverts" randomly spaced in the first quarter of the book.Spend a little more on a better copy.

A better read every time
My grandmother read this in the 1920's when she was a child and then to my mother. My mother read it to me when I was a child. When I read it myself years later, it read differently but in a better way (lumps in my throat for knowing). Reading it again now, I see so much likeness to Judy as to women today, with the exception of voters rights. I love Judy's sarcasm, and appreciate Jean Webster for writing a character like her.

Super livre
J'adore ce livre mais j'étais déçue de me pas avoir reçu celui avec les illustrations d'origine. J'avais pourtant cru l'avoir acheté.. .

Sin ilustraciones
No es versión original ilustrada, además trae publicidad. Es muy barato, pero creo vale la pena pagar más por la versión original.
