Best and healthiest salt
Now I only use this salt which is much healthier than the regular high-sodium salt.

A giant bucket of the best salt
The price is much better per gram than buying the small containers. It's a nice plastic bucket. This brand's granule size is a little small so it is perfect for deserts but I prefer the flaky kind for steak as it better retains its texture. Its also amazing for rimming a cocktail glass. Buying this huge size makes me feel better about using this as my regular salt on the table. If you are not familiar with this type of salt, this is a finishing salt. A waste to use for cooking and a ridiculous waste to use in soup or pasta water. Best to sprinkle in the finished product just before serving. Unlike regular salt, it's not very salty and the texture and flavor is best when it is on the surface of the food and not mixed in.

Just right
I ordered this to add to my pantry. I enjoy cooking and a friend introduced me to “finishing” salt. I have a variety of salts on hand but this type in a new addition. It’s milder in salt flavor and the large soft flakes make it easy to control the amount by finger sprinkling it onto whatever you are prepping. My first use for this was applying salt to porterhouse steak. These flakes melted into the meat perfectly after about 2 hours. The result was perfectly season succulent grilled steaks. We experimented by dropping some flakes on chocolate caramel ice cream. The result was yummy diy salted ice cream. Highly recommend. I have some other recipes where this salt will be perfect.

Great value
Use sea salt in much of my baking and always running out (at the worst time!) Superior quality sea salt and amazing value. I won’t be running out any time soon.

Great as a topping
Just a couple notes so you know what you’re gettingThis is a small pail of salt. I’m guessing it’s about a quart and a half in volume. The salt is coarse my granulated, about the size of bagel salt but more irregular. And it’s moist. That may seem a little odd at first because it makes it tend to stick together. It’s great as a topping on most anything. I like it on boiled eggs and outlet and fish especially. It has a unique flavor that’s probably from minerals but I wouldn’t describe it as unpleasant or metallic. Just uniquely savory. You’re going to need to use a small spoon to sprinkle it. I’m thinking you might be able to put some in a pepper mill but I’ve not tried that yet.I don’t know how long it will take to go through this much salt, but I’ve been tempted to find a way to take some on the road with me— it’s that good!

It's salt Period
This refined salt is clean and free of any off-flavors. While it doesn't have any distinctive taste, it's just clean and satisfying to use. Great for cooking and even mixing with herbs for meat. Highly recommended.
