Let's start with the positives:[+] Killer price.[+] Thick wire gauge.[+] Gold plated connectors (helps with corrosion).Now the negatives:[-] The connectors are short, meaning that unless you have it pushed in tight you won't get any video signal on your monitor.[-] Due to the thicker cabling, it is a little heavy and sags.The shorter than normal connectors are the biggest flaw with this cable. Neither port end is long enough to make a firm and secure connection. The cheap DVI -> DVI cable I had before was easier to connect. I'm still going to keep this one because it works fine. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is constantly unplugging their monitor from their computer (or vice versa).

Good cable so far, great price. It works too. Item arrived today, only took 3 days for std shipping. Wire is good thickness with decent quality connectors. My video card (GeForce FX5200) has both VGA & DVI. I had to install the Nvidia drivers to get both VGA monitor and HDMI LCD TV to display properly. It took a while playing with the Nvidia settings, but I think my TV via this DVI-HDMI cable now displays 1080i (1280x1024) from the computer, and my VGA monitor displays a separate different resolution (1024x768) both at the same time! I would give it 5 stars but I have to verify the length at 10ft, seems a bit shorter than that.

Good quality DVI-HDMI cable that would cost 20+ bucks more in the store. Used to to connect my [Charter] Motorola Moxi DVR to my Sony LCD TV. No difference in picture quality but I went from 5 cables (component) to 3 cables (HDMI and LR audio) which was my intent. Also at 3 meters in length it will be long enough to fish through the wall at a later date.Update: I found that there was a slight green shift in the color using this cable so I went back to component cables. I was unable to determine if it was an issue with this product or an issue with the output from the DVI port on my DVR box (most likely). So I can't fault this product and have no other means to test it.

I bought this to hook my Ps3 up to my computer monitor, I don't have a TV...who needs a TV when you have a computer...well thats just me.My Computer Monitor has VGA and DVI so I was able to hook the computer up to the VGA and the PS3 up to the DVI. I can press 2 buttons and switch between PS3 and PC. I also have a Wii hooked up to it as well, but I use a VGA switch Box for that.This product is excellent and the price is terrific.Go get the same thing from a electronics store, you would end up paying 25$ or more.I love Amazon for this kind of stuff.You can't beat these deals.

I feel like the seller is such a trickster.First, the seller sent a different product. He posted the picture of HDMI to DVI-D dual cable, 24pin, BUT he sent DVI-D Single, 18pin cable. Not just picture, the seller explains this is "24 bit/pixel" cable which is NOT. Therefore, the seller is a trickster or does not understand what he is selling.Second, the price and shipping fee. I questioned him why did you charge a shipping fee two times when I ordered two cable because he is shipping the cables in the same package, however, no wonder, I didn't receive any answer. But I just justified it with the $0.50 price. However, now I understand why he wanted to make money out of shipping fee. Since I'm trying to refund it even if it takes so much effort, not worth it than $8.00, I'm doing it because this is my right, I'm not sure I can refund the shipping fee.yes, the seller is smart, but we, customers are more smart, I learned it after wasting $8 but I hope I can save your money. In conclusion you can order the cable if you are looking for 18bit cable, BUT you have to take a risk with the tricky seller.PS. sorry for the seller I think I went to bad, but I really dislike who sends a different product when I buy on line.

I bought this cable to use my TV as a second monitor for when I'm watching Netflix or other movies. I hooked it up easy with no problems and it's working fine. My next step is to get an HD box. Sometimes you might be skeptical because how cheap a cord is. What you might not realize is these cables are inexpensive to make and stores mark them up several hundred percent to make a profit.

My order came from SF Planet and it was a great experience, I cannot speak for the other resellers of this item. Some previous reviews said the cables they received were very thin and poor quality, or didn't work. This was not my experience. The cable seems of standard quality, similar to the middle-cost name brands out there. I actually appreciated that it came in a sealed plastic bag rather than the hard sealed plastic stuff that requires a jackhammer to break into.Bottom of the line: the cable seems to be good quality, it works great, the picture is exactly the high quality I expected.

This cable only took about five business days to arrive via the postal service.so far it works to connect my netbook HDMI out to an old larger monitor (but still flat screen) DVI-D inWhen I first opened the package I was a little worried because one of the pegs to keep the DVI end in place would not screw correctly but it seems to stay plugged into my monitor well despite that.
