Not perfect condition but a good resource
The pre written adventures helpful if you are just starting as a game master or don't have a lot of time to plan anything out. But the book came a little dinged up. No rips in pages, or problems with the binding, so maybe I'm being too harsh.

2d20 Conan adventures
This is a collection of 7 adventures and some idea for the Conan RPG. They fit in with the idea of doing games without a clear one after the other. Pick one and run it.Some are well equipped with detail and maps, others are much more free-form. I appreciate the thoughts on dealing wtih PC slavery in teh one slavery adventure. Good ideas. I'd suggest picking this up for mining ideas, if nothing else. What is going on with Conan's torso on the cover. It's like he's an action figure from my childhood with the torso turned to the left. Very odd looking. The cover does look better on the inside with the waiting apex predator. Love that idea for covers to be on teh inside.144 page hardcover, with a built in bookmark (love those).

3 stars as it feels only 60% done
This is a great starting point for people who don't have all the time in the world to build up their own Hyperborean adventures, and the book is beautiful in it's layout, design and illustrations. The drawback here is that as previously mentioned in a review, the editing is heavily lacking.Take for instance Chapter 3: The Caves of the Dero ... It feels as if there wasn't enough play-testing done, as there is a huge disconnect on room/zone descriptions, how one area links to the other; rooms mentioned which aren't apparent where they come from. Mentioning in the ruins on page 58, Scene Two: The Ruins Below, Part One: The Green Door, that "the toom with a star is a ramp heading downwards" ... Excuse me? What room with a star? Why is there no mention of this or why does it not appear on the maps anywhere? Am I supposed to just invent this room with a star as a hidden room in the villa that wasn't mentioned anywhere? This is just one example of the myriad of disjointed issues that present themselves in this book.If you have the time to invest in deciphering and re-working a good majority of this, putting it all in your own notes in preperation, then yes-sir, it's a good buy.

Great stories marred by horrible editing
This gives you some pre-generates one-shot adventures you can slot into your 2d20 Conan campaigns. The stories themselves are great- very flavorful and full of Hyborean Age theme. The quality of the writing and editing, though, is atrocious. Mistakes abound- incorrect map legends, information missing from maps, lack of detail in various places, conflicting information in some adventures, and odd choices for art inclusions.Overall, get this if you want some a adventure ideas, but as a GM you’ve got a lot more work ahead of you than you should to prep these for play, and it’s all due to bad editing.
