Not again
Claims it is ready to go, battery sucks. One of the two, the buttons were broke.

Poor quality
I had to replace the batteries just to get them to program the first time and have had to reprogram them again since then. Meanwhile our original that came with the vehicle (2006) is still functional. All the printing on the buttons wore off after about 2 months of normal use. Better off spending more for a better quality remote, we may have to go back to Toyota and just pay the price for an OEM unit!

Easily programmed with zero issues for the last couple months.

Great alternative remotes. Works like it should.
Buttons are a little larger than the original remote and the range is no where near as far as an OEM(main reason for 4 stars). Overall it works well and a great alternative.

Not satisfied!!!
I ordered this Remote FOB for my 4runner 2002, I got my car into programming mode and managed to program both keys, on one of the keys 2 out of 3 bottoms are functioning (lock/unlock) rear window is no working, on the second key only locking is working.

DO NOT WORK (At least with 2006 4Runners))
I have lost/broken a number of key fobs for my 2006 4Runner over the years and have purchased roughly 8 new ones, including the 2 I purchased here. I have never had an issue programming the remote's before, however after numerous attempts using the same method I had previously used successfully, and then trying a number of variations I found after googling the issue, nothing worked. It is almost certainly an issue with the remotes as the door locks cycled as expected (after the whole open & close the door, put the key in the ignition, etc. rigamarole) to signal the car is in programming mode -- however there was no response after pressing the lock & unlock together, then lock by itself to program the remote itself.
