Intex Recreation 48" Color Whirl Tube

I got the 48" tube to use at the Jersey Shore. It was great! I used a hand pump to blow it up, you have to do one side first then the other. Super easy. I'm a fluffy gal and had no problems. I coasted on the waves and beached myself time and time again with great delight and ease. I never tipped over. Other smaller tubes were wiping out all around me but i stayed steady! Great tube. I deflated it with not problem either, just laid on it and pinched the tubes. Folded it back up and it's ready for my cruise! Yes, i am taking it on my cruise to use on the beaches. Why pay for rental? This will fit in my carry on. Get the hand pump with the tube attachment and you will love this thing! None of the paint rubbed off on me. But I've only used it on the ocean.

Very good product. An adult could use it, a teenager can use it, Even my 4 yr old used it - he grabbed the two handles and put his feet up across the tube - so he was across the tube and inside it. He did not want to let it go or get out of the pool (which is a problem at the end of the day!) It has two chambers and you have to inflate them in order - first the small inner chamber, then the large outer chamber. The inner chamber is about 1/4 of the entire circle, and it has to be inflated slowly and not too tight. It almost acts as a pillow at one side, but it gets hidden inside once you inflate the outer chamber. And if the outer chamber ever gets a hole, the device should still float using the inner chamber. I was able to inflate the inner chamber by mouth, but we decided to use the small air pump for the outer chamber - just to save the effort. But you can do them both by mouth. Both chambers have the blowing tip/mouth piece with feature that requires you to squeeze the silicon tip in order to let the air in or out -- so you blow in as you squeeze the piece then release and get more air in your mouth and continue. It took me couple attempts to get this right but once you figure it out -- the process is easy as a breeze. Squeeze the piece with your teeth, blow, release, repeat. After I inflated this one, I had to do another floating device for the little kid - it was Intex also and by that time I was a pro in this, so it took me no time.

My favorite pool toys ever. These are large and great for adults (even chubby ones). Great for around your waist, so you can rest your arms across the tube and dangle the rest of you in the water. ...The handles make it easy to hold the tube up to your butt, so it is positioned precisely where you want it, so you can then plop yourself on top of it by sitting down. :D While this maneuver is not particularly graceful, it is a highly effective method for getting just your backside wet. We bought four of these. We managed to puncture one of them, but the remaining three have held up very well. Well made, attractive and durable. While we haven't used ours for river tubing, they seem durable enough to work just fine.

I needed an inner tube for a river excursion (just a gently floating kid, not a white river kind) so I picked this out.Upside: it floats, and doesn't lose air, at least for all of one time I've used.Downside: my friend has mentioned that I've got green on me. No, it wasn't a grass stain; it was from the tube, with matching smudges.It was on my body and was erased easily enough, but that was an inconvenience. Note that when using this tube.

Large size, so works for both kids and adults. Color is fun, but my tube does evidently have a slow leak because I have to pump it back up a little each time we use it. Make sure to follow directions for inflation - there are two different bladders in this tube and you'll want to inflate it in the correct order for best results.

This is an awesome inter tube. We purchased it for our vacation at a local lake resort and it was perfect. It is very durable and it held a variety of people sizes and held up just great. I will be purchasing another one for our vacation for next year as everyone loved using it. It did take a little while to blow up, however, it was rather easy to deflate and when folded the correct way it fits perfect back in the box. Thanks.

The tube has two valves to inflate it with, and one didn't work so I couldn't even get the thing to blow up all the way. I will say I'm glad I couldn't use it because once I got on the river to tube, I realized having a net in the bottom and a head pillow are necessities for hours of floating. This is probably fine for the pool but don't use it to float down a river.

Great tube. Held up going over rocks and white water in the river. It has two inflation compartments, one for an inner ring and one for the outer ring. It did not come with a string so that it can be docked in the water. Here, it is listed for twice the price of similar products at Walmart. Wish I had known that before I bought it. Overall, good purchase.
