Yes, there is "cord noise" when you run. But this is typically drowned out by the music I'm listening to and my breathing. I only notice it between songs. The fabric cords are very durable and don't get sticky like most plastic-coated cords. Yes, if you don't take care of your stuff, then these headphones will cease to work - the silicone caps will fall off eventually if not cleaned occasionally and if you treat your headphones excessively roughly. However, these are my work-out headphones. I only wear them when I want headphones that won't fall out no matter what. So, I take care of them, keep them in their bag, clean the silicone caps once every month or two (typically as part of getting ready to work out - it takes less than a minute!), and treat them kindly. In return, they provide a great sound with respectable bass. They don't fall out of my ears. I can listen to my music loud enough to drown out most things, but can still hear a dog chasing me or a car about to run me down. Overall, I am very happy with these.

I just took these earphones out for their first test around the gym and am happy with the results. First off, they stay in my ear! Finally a set of ear buds I don't have to adjust 50 times while running on the treadmill. I only ran for about 30 minutes but worked up a sweat and still didn't have to adjust them once. After the treadmill I hit the weights and despite all the moving around they stayed in place just fine, BUT while bending over racking weight onto a bar I managed to loop them under the bar end and once I straightened up they were violently ripped out from my ear and gave me a bit of a scare. They fit so securely that I'm amazed the cord wasn't ripped out from the earpiece. So just a little idea on how secure a fit these headphones have. Now for a bit of the bad. The sound quality is not the best, but I wouldn't go so far as calling it bad. The tone sounds a bit muffled to me but I assume that's do to the cone like shape these earphones have. So while they're not crystal clear, they block out enough sound so you can hear your music in a loud gym and to me that's all that matters. One other issue I have is with the cord. I'm not a fan of these braided cords because they have a lot of memory, meaning if they tangle in a knot or are tightly wrapped around an mp3 player, they'll kink and don't easily straighten out. So you have to be careful to loosely wind up your headphones and try to avoid knots and tangles(which for me is nearly impossible when they're in my pocket). One plus about the cord is that it does not transfer noise from rubbing against a zipper or bouncing around to your earphones. As far as comfort goes, I had no problem wearing them for the hour and a half at the gym. Any longer though and their tight fit might become a little uncomfortable. So overall, I am happy with these headphones. Even though the sound quality is not the greatest, these aren't $100 headphones and while running or workout out they do fine. I say they're a good buy for the price.

I'm not a music or earbud expert, but I'll try to describe these as best I can. For sound quality, they work acceptably. These are designed with active lifestyles in mind over pure audio quality, so in this price range you can probably do a lot better. They're fairly clear, and not tinny. They have decent audio quality all around the spectrum, but have only a little bass, which will be a huge negative if you listen to pop, rap, or electronic music. They have no distortion issues are higher volumes, and they get very loud, I usually listen to music at 60%~ volume, and I work in a very loud place, so you should have no issues with hearing them. These are more focused on design, however, and they succeed for me. They have a special fabric cord, which is much more resistant to tangles than their earlier rubber ones, which were horrible. The real selling point here, is the special eartips, which go deeper into your ear canal and are rubberized with a lot of friction. They're surprisingly not uncomfortable, unless you wear them for very long periods of time, but few eartips won't be. The real question is, do they fall out? I apparently have the worst shaped ears for earbuds possible, and these do not easily fall out. I can run or jump, or even tug a bit, and they will stay securely in my ears. These are the only pair of earbuds I have ever found that can do this, so I would say these will suit your needs. For lastability, I had an earlier version of these that I got in 2013, which lasted me a very long time under heavy use every single day, including water exposure. The wire eventually started stripping late in 2014, exposing the copper inside. They never actually started failing on me, but I ended up just throwing them away since they were so beat up. If these were made with half the quality of the old ones, they will last most people a very long time. Bottom line: These earbuds do not fall out and are tough as hell. If that matters above all else, then these are for you.

I have been searching for a long time for the perfect gym headphones and think this is it. Features I really love about this product are:- 1. The cord The cord is made of a material finish rather than a wire which means when it catches on your skin it doesn't stick. Also the cable is easy to stop from getting tangled together. There is no volume control on the cord. I view this as a positive thing. Often with other headphones, the volume control would get sweat on it and my ipod would then sometimes malfunction. Less is more, I've no problem with changing the volume on the ipod, in the unlikely event I need to use it. The cord plugs fine into my ipod and iPhone and is at a slight angle which I hope adds to its longevity. 2. The ear buds The ear buds have a rubberised feel and the box came with some alternative buds. With the first ones the fitting didn't feel quite right so I swapped them out for the bigger ones. These fit absolutely great. I've had 20 odd sessions so far and can honestly say these never came close to falling out and feel snug and secure. They don't sit next to your ear canal rather than inside it which has pros and cons. The cons are that this means it doesn't block out all noise around you. The pros are that you don't get a bumpy noise in your ear when you're running. Also it means that sweat won't pool into your ear canal and then get blocked in there by the bud. I've found these the most comfortable and neatest fitting bud so far for all sorts of activity including running. Hearing ambient noise around you is also useful if you are out and about. 3. Sound The mid and high range is fantastic with very clear sound. The bass is maybe slightly less bouncy than I've had with other headphones, but this is because it's not fitted right in your ear canal. For gym headphones these are the best I've heard so far and as sweat drips freely around the shape of the bud you won't get noise blocking from sweat in your ears. 4. Longevity Will report back on this. Look like they'll stand a lot of use, time will tell. 5. Appearance They look cool and they're called Iron Man. What more do you want? Well done Yurbuds - finally a manufacturer producing a decent set of gym headphones!

I've had Yurbuds before and loved them. I got a new pair cuz the old ones stopped working after a while. The new ones only lasted 5 months of mild use....I'm in talks with Yurbuds to see if they'll send a replacement but we'll see. Kinda disappointed. I would buy Yurbuds again though, I think I just got a bad pair.

Ich mache es kurz. Ich habe mich lange nach vernünftigen Kopfhörern umschauen müssen. Alle die ich hatte, hatten einen guten Klang, aber nicht ein Einziger hielt in meinen Ohren. Immer wieder fielen Sie raus und wurden nur noch durch die Bügel gehalten. Der Klang ging dabei völlig verloren und die Dinger nervten nur noch. Bei den Yurbuds ist das anders. Ich war anfangs skeptisch, aber die Dinger halten wirklich bombenfest. Man kann sich noch so schütteln, nicht passiert. Einige schrieben in ihren Rezensionen, dass der Klang nicht so gut sei, Das kann ich zumindest bei diesem Model nicht bestätigen. Ich finde den Klang sehr gut. Ich bin aber auch kein Akustiker. Die Bässe sind aus meiner Sicht völlig in Ordnung. Wenn man die Lautstärke gering hält, kann es vorkommen, dass die Kabel etwas knarzen. Eine Oktave höher und das Knarzen hatte sich erledigt. Bei entsprechender Lautstärke sind auch keine Geräusche mehr im Umfeld wahrnehmbar. Die Verarbeitung des Produktes macht auf mich einen guten Eindruck. Die Kabel wirken hochwertig verarbeitet. Nichts verdreht sich. Alles in Allem gebe ich dem Produkt fünf Sterne, weil ich sehr sehr zufrieden mit den Kopfhörern bin und meine Suche endlich ein Ende hat.
