MV Foam Donut Washer HEX for Fixing Close Couple Cistern to PAN

Did the job but used plenty of plumbers mate to be on the safe side!!

Too chunky for my use. Had to get a softer foam type to do the job. Trouble with not being able to see what you’re buying. Looks good if that’s what you need.

I had an old round rubber style fail and decided to try this. Once I trimmed it a little on the outside edge to fit my specific toilet I placed the cistern back onto it and it compressed with ease making a tight seal. Does what it says on the tin, no more leaks !

Description says 12mm but this is 20mm. Big difference when you are talking about close coupled toilet! Also very firm compared to others.

Cut to a hex so fits down pipe better. A bit thicker than normal so the compression forms a better seal Better than you will find in Wickes

This did the trick and stopped my toilet leak. It was too thick so couldn’t get the cistern and pan close enough to start with so had to saw it in half but with some plumbers gold did the job.
