#1 bottom cream, I discovered this stuff when my daughter was in the nicu, they were using calmoseptine( another great cream) on her butt and it just wasn't working enough. So they brought out this stuff, and IT WORKED WONDERS! They sent us home with that same tube and it lasted me almost a year!! Fast forward 2 years later and my daughter got a severe welting rash and her skin was peeling off, it got so bad very quickly(due to a medication she was taking) that she couldn't sit down or have anything touch it at all! It started to bleed and the skin was bubbling up. So I got online and searched for this cream and finially found it here on Amazon but it definitely doesn't get the HYPE IT DESERVES and other creams I've used had better ratings! I literally tried everything over the years while working in the butt wiping industry for adults and having my own kids. Some big names I've tried are aquaphor, a and d ointment, equate baby rash cream, orange cap medline remedy gaurd paste, blue cap medline remedy hydragaurd silicone cream, peri guard ointment by dermarite, renew peri protectant by dermarite, calmoseptine, Vaseline, Boudreaux butt paste, dr. Smiths quick relief, destination and so many more!!! What I've found out when this particular incident happened is that alot of these creams can burn if your dealing with open wounds or very delicate skin, then some are washed away quickly, then others are just your basic protectant and they don't heal the area. THIS STUFF HEALS AND COMFORTABLY I know this because i had on hand alot of these creams and Nothing I tried worked. The aquaphor helped protect it but everything else burned the skin. Once we got this cream, the rash was gone the next day! I saw alot of complaints on consistency in the reveiws and it is a really weird chunkier consistently and has always been but it works!! So what I decided to do to curve that problem this time around, is put a dot of this cream on 1st then aquaphor right on top to make a better creamier consistency. Doing this also makes this cream last alot longer.(u could also use Vaseline) It's been a couple months and my daughter still takes this medication and we haven't had a single rash just by doing this at the sight of any red skin. Now this is all just my opinion and I'm not saying these other creams don't work well, cause they do! But this has definitely been the best for me!! I will update my review when I come back to get more. But it's definitely worth the $$ cause it will last you alot longer than the other brands you may get for a little cheaper.

My Must-Have Product for Feeding Tube Problem!
I received a full sized tube of the SensiCare 3 and a trial sized tube of Aloe Vesta Protective Ointment 3 when I was in the hospital for surgery. The nurse used the Aloe Vesta on the area around my feeding tube to help with irritation from leakage. It came off onto the sponge (gauze) almost immediately after applying a fresh dressing. The SensiCare was so thick that I hesitated using it, thinking it would be difficult to spread on the raw skin without tearing it, but my skin just kept getting worse while using the Aloe Vesta. The skin was so raw and blistered that it was extremely painful to clean and redress the area each time.I finally decided to try the SensiCare, and I'm SO glad I did. Not only did it spread easily over the affected area and not rub off on the gauze, but it did not sting or pull the skin to apply it, even on the blistered area. After just a few days of using the SensiCare I noticed that the bright red, burning and blistered skin was beginning to heal, and it was no longer painful to clean it and change the dressing. In a couple of weeks the area was healed to the point of just being pink skin, and no pain or irritation.I continue to apply a light coating of SensiCare with each dressing change and have had no recurrence of irritation from leakage. The protection held up even through some heavy leakage when the outer bumper of my feeding tube was loosened when our dog jumped in my lap and it pulled hard against my tube, causing a small tear in my skin at the opening (Ouch!).The tubes last a long time, even with daily use, and a little goes a long way. I use a long q-tip to apply and spread a thin layer an inch or so around the perimeter of the outer bumper, then cover with a split drain sponge.

Best cream out there
This isn't the best butt cream that has ever been made. It has always gotten rid of any redness or rash on my daughter . Lasts for awhile because it only takes a small amount to get around and cover. Found out about because they used it in the NICU my daughter stayed at. And I just had to buy some after we left the hospital. All in all highly recommend

Excellent barrier for child/adult
While in the hospital adult daughter developed nasty rash on bottom. This product provided an excellent barrier as it healed. A very little goes a long way. Since she is incontinent I have continued to use it as a preventive measure.
