Good quality
Comes with good instructions and is made well. A must for any area where you have water. I use them for our boat hoist.

Great customer service
The first unit didn't work. Called the company and talked to a service teecnition. He wasn't sure what caused the problem but immediately sent out a replacement. The new unit works perfectly. I wish all companies were this responsive.

Does the job
Installed it in my pop up camper. Only downside is that the reset must be pressed anytime the power is lost.

Affordable and exactly the right thing!
This replacement GFCI saved me at least $100 and got my spa back up and working in one hour! Instead of having to buy a whole new 20 Amp power cable and take the spa apart to wire it in, I was able to quickly wire this into the existing cable after removing the old inline breaker.Griff LambertBenicia, CA

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Let’s start with the positives:Strong sturdy case. Mates well to a line cord with good strain relief. Looks like it should be rain proof. Now let’s look at the down side:GFI is SUPER SENSITIVE to line noise and sudden changes in power factor. GFI should not kick out because of noise on the line.Unit dose not auto reset after fault is cleared (by design, but my application would prefer the other, when power is cycled off and then on it resets the GFI)If you are going to use this GFI on ONLY RESISTIVE loads ( like incandescent lights) then it should do well for you. But putting an inductive or changing power factor load (like an universal motor or a switching power supply) it will kick out making you think there is a ground fault when there is not !! I compared performance of this GFI to other brands ( in wall outlet type and a corded one) and this one continually FAULTED OUT where the others did not. (Of course all brands kicked out on a true ground fault)This will NOT work for a camper with a switching power supply (115 vac to 12 vdc converter or battery charger). With my electrical engineering degree and 45 year quality background, I could go into the actual product concerns (obvious assembly quality issues and potential circuit design issues) but I don’t think the typical review reader would be interested in those types of details.Bottom line, don’t buy this brand. You will be disappointed if you do. Try another brand, even though this one “looks” good.

Very well built and easy to install.
I bought this to replace a broken inline gcfi on my Ridgid K1500. A new replacement cord was over $100. This was of equal quality and for a lot less money.
