Van Der Hagen Post Shave Soothing Balm - Natural Ingredients for Soothing and Moisturizing Post Shave Finish, Unscented, 3.4 oz

I bought this on a whim and I really like it. One of the best aftershave balms I've ever bought. It's thick and creamy, so I don't need a lot to moisturize my face after shaving and it's lasted a year. The scent is very subtle, so it doesn't compete with my cologne.

Post-shave balm is important! I switched up my shaving routine (Parker 96R safety razor), and using this, I've noticed that it very quickly soothes/heals any nicks on my skin, and otherwise leaves it feeling smooth and refreshed. Pros: quick acting, you don't need much for it to work, and it's a good price. Cons: slightly greasy if you use too much. Also, it's unscented so keep that in mind.

Not really all that great. Scent is not very appealing, and too thick to squeeze out without totally removing cap. It does a good job of soothing skin but I probably will choose another product next time.

This is my second time using this product, I wanted to make sure of its effectiveness before leaving a review and I’m happy to say it really does work, and it works fast, you can see the redness going away.I recommend this product, a little bit fits the whole face, it doesn’t smell at all and it dries really fast, it’s not greasy at all.Highly recommended and really happy with it.

Got this for my brother because he was struggling with red bumps/irritation on his neck after shaving. After using this the bumps and redness is gone!

It's relatively small, also feel you have to use a little more than you should given the size, balm doesn't like to spread thin, not clumpy but kinda thick. No real smell to it, a very, very, very light chemical smell when I shoved my nose to the bottle but hardly noticeable even than and more along the line of sun screen though it's kinda difficult to compare it to anything, it more or less is scentless unless you really try to give it a good sniff. Which is nice, some times I don't enjoy smelling a balm all day so I am happy with a neutral no scent.Priced pretty cheaply, as a said kinda small bottle, not exactly sure how long it will last but it should still last a few months at least (I shave my head) so I probably use more than most would. Overall it works, I wouldn't say it's magical by any means just a non offensive cheap balm, not sure if I would repurchase or not, I like to try around but it is better than some of the cheaper options I've tried. Slight oily feel later on in the day but that's been my experience with most balms anyways, can't fault it for something basically all of them do but still worth a mention to those who don't enjoy that aspect.4/5Better than average, but not amazing.

It's hard to find an unscented aftershave and my husband is hard to please. He likes this product !

This is a good product. It is soothing on irritated skin. But it's much too small in volume for the price.
