Venom by Daniel Way Ultimate Collection

This story arc is cool but feels like it was made for the point of being made rather than to create an interesting story arc for the venom story line. However if you are up to date with the venom stories and agent venom the ending of this book then comes into play and helps to create a new sidekick for agent venom. I like how Cullen Bunn fed this in to link this story into the rest.

You buy a comic book called the Ultimate Collection, the least you expect is a conclusion. Right?I liked the art, liked the writing, nicely paced, held my attention, some great splash pages... But, to leave a hefty tome like this on a cliffhanger is frankly unforgivable. Poor show. Bad Marvel.

I've really enjoyed most of Daniel Way's stuff and when I heard he was working on Venom I got all kinds of excited. This has been phoned in as far as I'm concerned. The art is passable but only just! Daniel Way you are on notice my friend.
