Update - The rod broke through misuse on my part and the manufacturer replaced the tip. Their website makes it clear- do not pull the line back toward the reel against the drag. The tip will break!I've used the rod on a boat and from the shore. The rod has a great feel, cast a mile and travels on the plane easily. I recommend this rod to my friends.Mine broke after second use also. And on a trip to Florida! the tip broke while I was pulling line through the guides. When I did/could use the rod I really liked it!
