I've had these for many months now. I am shocked. The price is pretty amazing for what you get.First, the whitish film people bring up a light dusting and in my opinion is done to prevent them from sticking together if the climate during transit or storing does something wonky. It wipes or washes off really easy. I've just grabbed them out of the box without doing any of it and I have had zero problems.Like I said I've had them for many months and still going. You get so many that sometimes I wash them when I have time and if I don't, it goes right in the trash and I don't have to feel bad about it. They have not degraded or changed in anyway with hot hot temps of washing or the cold. I've had them sitting in water for days and they still did not change.I really like the trays. It's a big help having them as I just keep the box on my counter.The only thing I can say might be a little underwhelming is the knives. They defiantly can cut things but since it's a soft material they can not spread very well. The knives will simply bend unless it's something really soft. Cream cheese is not one of them.I really hope companies keep going in this direction and continue to keep the price affordable. So much plastic end up in landfills in my opinion out of sheer laziness. If the price can be kept low, those people who care more about their pocket than the planet will also pick these up.

Great quality. Happy to find this product on Amazon since I am planning a "green" picnic wedding. Minus 1 star because my package arrived with only 34 knives and 35 forks...But got 1 bonus spoon in the package. If you're planning on needing exactly 36 sets, you might not get exactly that.Someone commented that these are misleading because the package is marked "Designed for landfill disposal." If you visit the Trellis Earth website, they explain the regulations on labeling products as "biodegradable" and "compostable." These ARE designed for compost disposal, and will break down in 60-180 days, but Trellis Earth cannot advertise this in markets where municipal composting is not available. These CAN be disposed of in your landfill, and may degrade depending on your landfill's unique conditions. "Landfill disposal" is an OPTION, not a requirement for these.

Worked great. Not a single piece broke and they didn't look or feel flimsy. I bought these because I'm sick of all the plastic that goes in the trash. These can handle anything and would certainly work fine for a meal and hold up.

This product was amazing. It came in two trays, and separated. I didn't have to find a way to set these out, I just took them out of the box and set them in the appropriate place for my dinner! They didn't break easily, and were a fantastic addition to our group meal. I will absolutely order these again the next time I have a group meal.

Good delivery to home. Utensils held up well with spaghetti and salad and teenagers. Divided trays slide out of box for guests to easily select what they need.

Simple heavyweight utensils, great for group gatherings. The knife actually cuts.
