There are probably a lot of audiophiles out there who would have a lot to say about the music reproduction of these headphone but for one I can't notice and two as a gaming headset you can hear EVERYTHING!I am going to first briefly mention two potential drawbacks; media playback quality and headset size [skip next 2 paragraphs if this doesn't concern you]. I think most peoples main issue with music playback will be Bass reproduction. If you want headphones that are going to vibrate your soul with your favourite bassy track then look elsewhere now. However, that is where the downsides end... this headset was designed to hear every sound within a game and that translates to music and film. I can hear instruments I have never heard before in songs I have known for years and a little EQ tweak can fix the bass for the majority of people.The size is to be expected from any over hear headphones, and I don't really expect many people to want to carry them around in their bag however the ear cups will turn 90 degrees to aid with this. At the end of the day I expect the majority of people will store them next to their respective gaming rig.Design - Understated design. I personally like the black/brush metal finish better in person and would happy wear them as headphone on a train journey.Unplugable cables and mic are a feature I didn't know I needed but are a great addition for usability. Mic is easily adjusted which seems like it should be a normal feature but there are so many headsets where this isn't the case.Super comfortable. The ear cups are designed to not crush your ears and if you wear glasses have an extra support feature to reduce pressure on the areas where the arms might sit, so after an hour it doesn't feel like they are trying to fuse the glasses into my skull.Build - Is solid and not too creaky. Though I have seen some broken for spares I do not feel like they are going to snap on me if normal use.Sound - The mic is clear enough for my uses with some reasonable noise cancellation. My friends like that they can hear me properly now.I can hear every pin drop in game now. In a game like Warzone it can be quite overwhelming for the first game or so as you can hear people from such a distance that there is just so much sound information being thrown at you. Easily gives you that upper hand in competitive gaming.I would definitely recommend this as a gaming headset and if you're okay with a little less bass disconnect the mic and use them as a decent pair of headphones.

I have gone through many top of the range gaming headsets, I always buy the most expensive with all the trimmings. These were a new thing for me, my previous Turtle Beach headset fell apart after several years of use and I was in need of a replacement asap. My friend recommended this particular set, even though it was a lot cheaper than I am used to. I've got to say this has been the BEST headset I've ever bought, sound quality is on point allowing me to hear footsteps from every direction, durability is also fantastic they feel strong when I hold them and sturdy on my head, they do not clamp down like most headsets - which is especially important for long hours of use - As for noise cancellation...they're so good at blocking outside noise, I didn't hear my next door neighbours house being burgled until someone tapped me on the shoulder and told me. And for this price you cannot go wrong!

Great headset for gaming and really does emphasis key sounds helping you pin point the source and location of enemies. Perfect for solo game play. Good comfort, allowing for long sessions of game play. The only fault in my opinion is that it can sometimes be difficult to hear teammates in game chat as the volume of certain games can overpower chat, with some people needing to shout or speak very loudly to be heard.

I took a risk buying this for XB1 as I've tried nearly every headset out there and felt others either uncomfortable, lacking quality or just poor value for money. At £90, these are not budget, but not expensive. Straight out the box, comfort excellent and 1st 3hr session a breeze. I tested sound using Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos, both excellent for L&R channels, with good but not perfect pin pointing of direction. Differentiating between someone being above or behind me in Gears 4, a little difficult at 1st, but I got used to it. Bass not boomiest, but adequate. Mic is excellent, best I've ever used connected to a headset. Mic monitoring is also present, although you jeed to fiddle with xb settings, by turning volume down on console, mic monitoring to max, then turning headset to max on cable volume control. If you are looking for a new headset for XB1, these I'd say for the money, are perfect

I’ve had the same exact headset before, can’t go wrong with Turtle Beach!

Quality is excellent and the sound is superior.The comfort is impeccable and the overall build quality is next to perfect at this price point.The headset looks and feels premium however on xbox one, this headset has a persistent echo. I tried this headset 3 times through returns but sadly the echo made this product un-usable and I had to return this item.If you aren’t a talker, this headset is one of the best i’ve used, however if you like to talk in parties and game chat... This just isn’t the headset for you.

Received the Headset around 2 pm Today and after setting it up, I could hear my friend talking in discord but however he heard a really loud buzzing noise when I was trying to speak. I recorded myself using the windows 10 voice recorder and on play back instead of hearing me say "Hello" 10 times, I hear the same Buzzing noise instead.It May be so comfortable and high quility material but the Mic is broken and does not work. I returned the item within a hour of receiving it. Very disappointed with the Turtle Beach and especially for the price £84.99 which is not a budget headset.
