Styrene sheet, or plasticard as it's known to many, it easy to work with. It can be cut and carved easily, bent with some heat, and formed with the right tools. It can be bonded using the same model cement or styrene glues commonly used for model building. I use it for conversions and scratch builds for Warhammer 40,000.I use rods like this for gun barrels, banner poles, weapon shafts, or pretty much anything round. This kit comes with a decent range of sizes for general purpose use. If you find you use a particular size quite often you should be able to find it separately.

Great assortment of rod and tubes, which I plan on using with my Warhammer 30k Army for some added detail and base decorations.

I was using copper and brass tube "micro" stock. From a local hardware store. Though durable, it was changeling to work with. This plastic round & tube stock is quick to cut/shape. This is great stuff.

I think there were four tubes and four rods. They are smaller diameter the biggest is about 1/8-3/16 possibly on the tubes 1/8 on the rods. Everybody looking at this knows what they are and the quality is what you would expect it to be. Just be aware that they are smaller diameter sizes.
